  1. I have three email accounts for various businesses. Now I have to sign into each one rather than have them display and select. It was so ea

    I have various personal and business emails in Yahoo. It used to be a piece of cake to switch between them. Now it is next to impossible. I have to verify and sign in to each individual email account and it is too time consuming. Ridiculous. Fix it please or return to the devil we already know.

    To add another mailbox to Yahoo please follow the steps:

    1. Click the Settings icon on the right side of the email page
    2. Select More settings
    3. Click Mailboxes on the left side.
    4. Click Add Mailbox.
    5. Enter the email address | click Next.
    In the pop-up window that appears, enter the password for the account you’re adding.
    Follow the steps in the pop-up window.
    6. Click Done.
    7. Click Save.

  2. delete

    Delete single email button.
    In the new format the delete single email button was moved to the far right. As you are looking at emails the eye is drawn to the left half of screen. That is where the sender info and beginning of subject is. When the delete button was on the left you eye and your cursor is in that area making it easier to click delete in that area. Now that it is on the far right your eye is looking left but to delete you have to navigate to the far right to delete a message.…

    Keep in mind that the Spam and Trash folder empty themselves at random intervals throughout the week. To hold onto emails longer, it’s better to Archive them instead. Archived emails are never deleted unless you do so manually.

    Sometimes when emails reappear after being moved/deleted or suddenly move to the Trash, it’s due to syncing issues between the account and a mail app. If you access the account through a non-Yahoo app, you may want to remove the account from the device and re-add it to resolve any future syncing issues.

  3. next mail message opens in the middle, not the top anymore. Why?

    Use Case: I'm reading an email in my Inbox. I'm finished so I delete it. Yahoo Mail automatically opens the next email - so far so good. However, now the next email is opened at the bottom or middle, wherever I was when I exited the last email. So I have to scroll up manually to see the top of the email. WHY? Previously after I deleted a read email Yahoo Mail would open the next one a the top.

    Please go to settings – click on the gear icon on the top right corner- select more settings from the drop-down- on the left side of the screen in the settings page click on Viewing email- on the menu that opens in the next column scroll down and under “After moving a message” select “Go back to original folder”Changes are saved automatically.

  4. Eliminate the tabs

    I noticed tabs now when opening emails. I don't like it. As I read all the complaints on many subjects I can see that Yahoo isn't listening to the yahoo population. As a retired computer engineer I find it appalling that changes are being made without user input.

    Click on settings then scroll a bit down and toggle the option next to “Message tabs” Off

  5. Email list jumping around after exiting out reading an individual email

    After reading an email, I either press Esc key to go back to email list or use the back button on top of email to go back. After doing this multiple times, the email list starts acting weird, it won't stay at the position where it was scrolled to, usually it would jump to a position far down the list then I had to scroll back up again... This started happening after migrating to the new layout. The new layout is so buggy, why make your product worse and force people to use it???

  6. Security and Privacy settings do not include options for two factor authentication

    It make sense to put this options there, I'm not sure where to go otherwise to add two factor authentication to my account.

  8. I really hate Yahoo Mail. The emails don't list in consecutive order. I often reply to an email and my reply is in the middle of a thread.

    Make the email normal, like Microsoft Outlook. List the emails individually, at the top or bottom of the thread. It's incredibly frustrating to find emails, and the collapse function sometimes makes this easier, but not always. Let me respond to one, and only one, email, and not be forced to include the entire thread. Very frustrating. I'm probably going to switch over to Google Mail. None of my friends have problems with that.

  10. On clicking delete button, the inbox becomes thinner again!

    When I click on the right arrow to widen my inbox and then click on delete button on any of the mails, the inbox automatically becomes thin again! Please fix this

    You can click the check box next to the email and use the Delete function on the top of the mailbox list.

  12. old format, please!!!!!

    In the email list, there is too much space!!! I can only see have the amount of email as before. On my large screen desktop, it's just an annoyance, but on my 13" laptop and the wide-screen monitor at work, you can only get 5 or 6 emails displayed with the current email displayed on the bottom. Please have more than one version, and have a version with less whitespace between the emails in the list!!

  14. scroll bar

    The scroll-bar on the side is not functioning. You can't go up and down to search email, even with the arrow keys. Folders column also...scroll bar dysfunctional. When you are check-ticking on your emails, and scroll down to next page, the ticks disappear.

    Moving from "Basic" mode to "Full Featured" mode is near impossible. Takes a PhD. I can't figure it out.

  16. Constant Authentication Process

    For the past few days, I've had to change my password several times. This is utterly annoying as I need to remember them and can't keep track, not to mention the fact that having to constantly go through the authentication processes is a terrible nuisance.

    I urge you to look into this problem ASAP as I won't keep using your services if this isn't solved quickly.

  18. Nothing works!

    You took away the "views" that had some of my photos in it. We used to be able to attach photos from recent emails~~that is gone. We don't have any stationery. Please put everything back the way it was. This is getting to be too much to bear with~~you do something different every day and no one knows how to operate this stuff.

  19. mail auto refreshes when I'm searching for an email below. Suddenly, it will refresh and brings me again to top of the email

    New Yahoo email keeps refreshing itself. Not sure why. If I am searching for emails and have gone down couple of pages, suddenly it refreshes the emails and brings me to top of the emails.
    How do I stop it?

  20. Logging in MAIL dumps me in yahoo news.

    New email login puts me on yahoo news, then I must click on the mail icon. If I wanted yahoo news, I would go there. Please give us the option to go directly to mail when logging on.

    Please go to mail.yahoo.com from the desktop computer and sign in. This way you should see your Inbox and not the news.
