I read and delete emails on my phone using the app. When I look at the email on the computer, the emails are still unread and not deleted.Y?
Yahoo makes it very hard to use the email. When you are going through it on the phone using the Yahoo email app, reading and deleting it, there's no sync on the same email when you use the computer. It's a long chore to redo the same thing and read and delete emails a second time. Fix this problem!
Sometimes when a mailbox behaves like this it’s because of another program or app the account is being accessed from.
Syncing issues between the account and a mail app can cause emails to be moved around oddly. If you access the account through a mobile device or app, you may want to remove the account from the device and re-add it to resolve any syncing issues in the future.

Why the reduction in the size of attachments.
Why the reduction in attachment size. I much prefer the old format of Yahoo mail
The attachment size is still 25 MB, this includes the body and subject of the email.

Doesn't work well
In the new Yahoo! Mail I cannot use italic and bold letters nor can I paste images.

Also, if you want to send emails containing images, keep in mind that you will need to drag and drop those pictures in Yahoo mail. -
DONT MAKE ME PAY FOR HELP!!!!
Windstream and yahoo are not playing nice and when I called for help I was told by Yahoo that I would have to pay 4.99 a month to get help!!! seriously???!!!! Im thinking of changing to Gmail.... this is ridicules!

I sent an email to a friend that went to an entirely different person I didn't know
email going to wrong person.
Please make sure the email address is correct and the one that your friend is using.

NEW version is HORRIBLE!!
new version is HORRIBLE! EVERY time I try to delete a single email, it deletes it AND the next one!! Making me have to search the TRASH folder to find the email I DID NOT want deleted!!
the damned side panel gets in my way of viewing emails fully... put those tabs back the way they were so I can see my entire email without having to manually shut that panel... which pops open the second I move on to something else. I can not receive emails

I think my account has been hacked as i'm unable to receive ermails but i can send from my account, i think someone has linked my account to theirs. can you please if possiable unlink me. its been over a few weeks now, this have been happening.Not getting the emails you expect is frustrating. Send button is gone. Put it in an obvious place or get out of the email business.

This new version of Yahoo Mail does not allow me to send GIF's. Why am I unable to send GIF with this "new" and allegedly "improved" Yahoo mail format????

Rewrites screen
The screen keeps rewriting and not staying where i have the curser. This is very annoying. I wish you would quit harassing me to try this new e-mail I don't see any improvements.

spam filters suck
Yahoo, please tell me why after i block and delete a sender's email from my account...
This one - admin@pentomato.com, your piece of **** filter can't block it. It can't and doesn't block anything I attempt to block.
What in the **** is wrong with your service? Piece of **** gets worse every day.
Read the comments, read the critiques, sh!t...do SOMETHING! This is not an isolated incident. FIX the **** service you are attempting to provide.Check out this post for more information on how our Spam filters work:
Also, our Spam filters also override any filters on the account, so if something is deemed to be Spam, it will ignore filters on the account and go there.

Yahoo email is unsafe and insecure all the time. Tried to fix the issue but its still insecure.
Make yahoo mail secure. Its insecure most of the time.

How can I mark a read message as unread in new mail?
You can improve new mail by going back to Classic Mail. Your upgrade was all downgrades. I can't see how to mark a read message as unread, which is how I flag messages that I will need to go back to. I have clicked on every icon, I believe, but can't find a way to do it. Classic made it easy by right clicking on the message.
To mark an email as unread check the box next to the email and press the “k” key on your keyboard or click on the More menu ( three dots above the mail list) and select Mark Unread from the drop-down menu.

Have the email app and the desktop site communicate.
I received an email and viewed it on my phone's app within minutes of it being sent. I logged into my desktop and then into yahoo and the email is not there!! Its been two hours!
Try removing and re-adding the account using IMAP settings.

get rid of the disappearing scroll bars....I can't get mine to work most of the time....hate, hate, hate!!!! going to leave yahoo if not fixed real soon!!!!!!
