switch off spam filter
SPAM filter has become too aggressive, junking important emails relating to my medical care. This is a recent problem. (August 2021). There seems to be no way of switching this off. You are literally killing me. Please fix this.

notification badge
States I have 5 new emails, minutes after I had already read them all and logged out. The next time I opened yahoo, it told me I had new emails, when indeed I did not.

Inbox should have PAGES or 50 emails per screen
Please regular inbox to have only 50-100 email per screen/page which would allow us to forward to the middle or end of our inbox list. Need to d edit, delete, move and read emails located in a time or later in list WITHOUT scrolling for an hour.
Makes using on phone very difficult also !!!
Yahoo used to be easier and better than gmail -- please make regular

Test Send-Only Email Software Before Going Live
Where are you sending verification emails for a send-only email address? Unsurprisingly, I never got one. So, I tried disposable email.
A filter of existing correspondence is optional, but my only choices to move on are "save" and "cancel." Nothing to save if it's blank, and cancel? Take a guess.
So, after an hour, I was not able to create a temporary mailbox to let the monster on CraigsList know what I thought of her leaving her dog behind when she moved.
I'm actually ready for AnythingButYahoo@xfinity.com. Nice knowin' ya.

Dynamic date separators: option to supress
I find them pointless (there is a "date" column for a reason) and a waste of valuable screen real estate. Since it has been six months since the last thread on this subject was closed, I am re-submitting the request: give us a options setting to shut this "feature" off please.

Unable to remove yahoo alias from second Yahoo email.
When trying to remove alias from the settings, once selecting to proceed with removing the alias nothing happens and no save option is given. When logging out and going back into settings, the alias still shows up.

Per errore ho risposto blocca al messaggio Yahoo mail vorrebbe scaricare più allegati e non c'è modo di sbloccarlo.
E' necessario inserire nelle impostazioni la possibilità di eliminare questo blocco. Sembra che l'unico modo sia rivolgersi all'assistenza a pagamento che peraltro è solo in inglese e ritengo che questa procedura sia molto scorretta

Provide option to extend life of emails in Trash folder
I see this suggestion listed a ton but Yahoo doesn't care?

7 days is a joke.
You're doing this to save $ on storage when storage is cheap as can be nowadays.
We are allowed up to X number of GBs of storage and we should be able to choose how to use it.
I recommend setting the default to at least 30 days and allow people to set it to whatever they want but prompt when storage is… -

provide better help. Do not charge yahoo users to contact support teams via phone. Make chats & other support needed free to be able to solve issues. I should not have to "sign up" to receive help with my issues. I need to chat with an associate to fix my issue straight away & i can not do that because yahoo does not make it available. Makes me want to delete my yahoo account and discourage others from using yahoo. Why? because if you have an issue you cannot get help unless you pay for it. That is insane and…

Stop auto play ads with sound
All of a sudden, I am getting ads that play with sound in my mail. I have a Yahoo business account, and pay for Yahoo web hosting. I can't tell you how infuriating it is to be on a zoom call, open my mail to find a communication and some ad starts playing, broadcasting to my clients on the call. Shut it the f off.

shortcuts
It's harmful for user's reputation. I have sent uncompleted or inappropriate messages for several times by pressing Ctrl+Enter. Please let user to deactivate or customize shortcut keys. Many software and applications now-a-days are using Enter for sending the message and Ctrl+Enter for going to the next line. I know that Yahoo mail is a pioneer but the truth is that we are using those software and applications much more frequently because they are a part of our lives. Thank you.
