    You can mark these emails as Spam as opposed to blocking them. Because spammers can use a near-limitless number of addresses, it’s virtually impossible to block every one. Marking an email as spam not only blocks the sender but also logs the IP address it came from. Too much spam from a given IP and it can get blocked.

  2. Turn off this god*da*n new login feature!

    This new phone/password thing sucks! I don't always have my phone on my person, and having to log into hot mail IN ORDER TO log in to Yahoo is ********!

    Hi there,

    Please see the following help article on how to fix problems signing into your account. While we do not recommend it, you can disable account key. The steps on how to do this are document under the section “Manage devices and disable Account Key”:

  4. ALLOW US TO FULLY CHANGE, CONTROL OUR EMAIL ACCT.

    I signed up my acct a decade or two ago. Now for today's security issues, I want to hide my NAME but that is one field you do not allow us to change. Same with or our DOB. You should not do that in today's environment. Back then honesty was not a big issue as it is now. The only option you give me is to get rid of an email I have had for DECADES and get another one.

  5. Deleting email alias not working.

    Clicking "Remove alias" is broken, it just closes the modal. Refreshing shows the alias not deleted. No error message no nothing, just closes.

    Currently, you can’t block domains in New Mail. Since spammers use so many different addresses to send junk, it’s best to mark these emails as Spam rather than trying to block every domain. This helps our system block these emails better in the future.

    Our Spam filters override any filters on the account, so if something is deemed to be Spam, it will ignore filters and blocked addresses on the account and go there.

    Most modern web browsers have a spellcheck feature built-in, making the spellcheck feature in Mail redundant. Check out your web browser’s help documentation for more info.

  10. I have retired and I want to remove my "description" from my alias email

    I can't see a place where I can remove my job description from my second email. The second one as a sending address was suggested several years ago when I was in community college and I've used it ever since. However, now that I am retired, I no longer need the job description to precede the email. Can you help me get that off the sending email? Your box just shows me "extra" and I cannot get to the settings for that. Thank you.

  12. Get rid of the sign in key garbage.

    Get rid of this blasted sign in key it's stupid to have to use my phone to be able to get into my account on my pc I hate it and I know others do too. I have asked you to remove it from my account so I can get back into my email like it used to be but obviously you people are to stupid to do as a user ask what **** part of I hate this do you not understand and please put things back the way they were. I don't see how that is so hard…

  16. Help me out here, My password was phished and getting clear instructions to change my password is impossible to find.

    Our Spam settings override any filters (including blocked addresses) on the account, so if something is deemed to be Spam, it will ignore filters on the account and go there. If the email isn’t going to Spam, make sure the the address matched 100% with what’s in the blocked addresses list.

    You can check the location settings in New Mail under the Viewing Email section in the settings. Look for “Closest city and timezone”
