I HATE this (yahoo) mail with a passion... no matter WHAT I do EVERYTIME I have to get a key in order to sign in. WHAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAN

Can you please revert to the old way of signing in over a computer?
Why re you asking us to validate the sign in request from a mobile phone or email or text. This is ridiculous and an aboslute waste of time, especially that we access the app directly. So security is not the issue here.
It sounds like you have Yahoo Account Key enabled. You can turn this off by following the steps in this link:

Cannot edit send-only mailbox information in "new mail". I had to go back into classic mail to edit mailbox and then "upgrade" back.

How do I change name on outgoing mail?
Same as others here - FRUSTRATED that I have changed my name on account but old name still appears as sender on outgoing mail.
Your suggestions to follow these links (https://forums.yahoo.net/t5/Yahoo-Help-Community/ct-p/english) DON'T WORK. There is no "Accounts" listed under the Settings icon.
Why has nobody fixed this? Seems like it has been going on for years and years. I use this account for online shopping, and it's sketchy when I email companies about issues and my name doesn't match.Check out our Tips and Tricks post on getting the sending name corrected:

Security log in
Using my phone to log in while I am on my home computer is just overkill! Just let me log in without also logging into my phones email. If I wanted to use my phone to look at my emails I would but I am on my home computer!!!!!!!!!! Just let me log in, ask me more security questions if you want but don't make me log into another device just to prove that its me!!?!?!?! I hate my yahoo email just because of this!

Filters do not work very often.
The filters do not work very often. I have created multiple versions for some emails and they still keep showing up in my inbox. Even ones I created a long time ago only work occasionally. Why is this so hard?
Often times, filters won’t work because they are too specific, or too broad. Double check your filter parameters to make sure you aren’t being too precise or too vague.
Also, keep in mind that filters work on position: filters at the top of the list will take priority over lower ones. Our Spam filters also override any filters on the account, so if something is deemed to be Spam, it will ignore filters on the account and go there.

an easier what to change default font setting to my font of choice and size I am older and eyes don't see small fonts as easy and many of my email recipients can barely see so I have to change it everytime I send an email remember "KISS" keep is simple stupid

Notifications please
I have checked and rechecked my notifications - today I had both my phone on and my laptop opened in yahoo while doing work in another app, and did not receive a notification for an important incoming email - happened to see it on my phone an hour and a half later. There are a lot of us contractors who use your email because of other things I like- the ability to search, file, and keep entire history of company emails. But if I miss a call for a job, or a reply I am waiting on that affects the…
Make sure that notifications are turned on in both the account’s settings and on the device as well (in the case of your phone). It might help to remove and re-add the account/app from the device and re-add it.
Also, keep in mind that regular Yahoo accounts are not intended for business purposed as per the Terms.

Filters don't save location of where to PUT each filter you add
Filters don't save location of where to PUT each filter you add. No matter how many times I go into settings --> filters and adjust where the filtered mail can go it ALWAYS reverts BACK to my inbox! What is the point then?? This alone will make me move to another email platform.

Correct blocked address settings
Blocked address show up over and over again after I block them. What do I need to do to get rid of them?
Verify that you have the exact address in the blocked address field. Also keep in mind that emails filtered as spam will bypass any filters on the account and go straight to the Spam folder.

"blocked addresses" in "Security and Privacy" settings got lost after op in spam folder
In spam folder, there is an option to block senders after selecting all the spams. But previous saved blocked addresses is gone after the operation.
That is, the previous blocked addresses are all discarded, there are only the newly added ones.
Emails in the Spam folder are not affected by the Blocked Addresses filter. Once an email is classified as Spam, it will go there regardless of any settings on the account. Our Spam filters take precedence.

all of the sudden my inbox font is TINY and I can't read it? Help
You may just need to adjust the zoom settings in your web browser. Hold down the CTRL key and press the + key at the same time until the text looks right. You can also hold down CTRL and press the 0 key at the same time to reset the zoom to default.

Incorrect Personal Information
The date of birth on my account is incorrect. Kindly provide a means so that it can be edited. It would be nice if I can be contacted for this to be edited to reflect my correct date of birth.
For security reasons, it isn’t possible to update or change the date of birth listed on your Yahoo account, even if you entered it incorrectly when you first registered your account. You’ll need to open a new account if you’d like your account to reflect your accurate info.

There need to be a setting preference you can select to delete all emails past 10 days, so you don't have 9,999 plus emails. its ridiculous
Put a setting preference in to let us choose to delete all emails read or unread that is over 10 days old, so when I log in, my freakin inbox doesn't say I have 16,057 unread emails. its freakin ridiculous. Plus you should be able to delete all inbox emails, at once, just like the trash & spam.
