Options needed for "verify recovery phone number". Your system only offers text.
My home phone DOES NOT accept text (think landline, yes they still exist), my cell phones DO NOT work at my house (no signal). Because your system does not offer any other method to verify my recovery phone numbers there is no way to add such a thing to my account.

I am surprised how horrible your password system is. Why do you not have people input the same password twice when making a new password to avoid errors? How long can someone go without using the same password. Your policy just makes me have to change my password every time because it doesn't even tell me the one I input was wrong. I know one person doesn't matter much to you, but I am now going to set up my own email server because I am tired of this moronic problem.

Spam folder
Make it easier for seniors and disabled people to stop and block spam. From last Friday afternoon until today, Friday 25, 2022, I have gotten 10,246 emails in my spam folder. Yahoo, do you think this is right ?

Logging in from different devices
I'm having a terrible time w/Ymail and logging in and out with my password on a basic level. I'm constantly hounded to use the 2 verification process. It's a constant loop of brokeness. I'm beyond frustrated. Please get rid of this.

Please put a Language menu on the front/main page or even the sign-in page. It's almost 2023 and I noticed that since 2018 people have been asking for this. I hope not to have to wait another 4 years for someone at Yahoo to read this "Feedback" in quotes as I suspect that the 2018 threads were also from a feedback that nobody from Yahoo responded to. Fingers crossed this time

Yahoo needs to include in Settings the option to increase the Font SIZE . Yahoo mail does not follow Apple IPhone settings for font size !
Pls include the option to increase or enlarge FONT SIZE on your settings .

Why every day, every moment inlog a Capcha ? multiple Capcha's. I use every day the same two computers. Both always at the same place . So no fear someone on the other end of the world is trying to log in. So please stop stupid Capcha;s . No need for. Don;t want them. reason to very little use of Yahoo. EVERY TIME I log out, I have to get a stupid verification text!
I do not want to have to get a text every time I lot out. WHY? It should be optional. No other emails require you to get a text to confirm every time you log out!

As a loyal user of mail plus for many years, it's outrageous that we are unable to edit our basename. Mine is essentially useless. When I made it years ago I was not told it could never ever be edited or deleted. This is irritating enough so that I am strongly considering canceling all my Yahoo accounts.

Ability to apply new filter to existing email in inbox... like Gmail does.
Universal rule: if you wish to beat the competition, you must at least provide what they do (or make the feature obsolete). Otherwise you are by definition lacking and inferior in the way of lacking.
In this example: The ability to apply new filters to existing emails in inbox.
Having to manually filter the email in my inbox because the new filter only applies to NEW emails ENTERING the inbox is a waste of my time, one which I'm not burdened with on Gmail.
