Blocked password recovery email
I am not receiving a password recovery email and none of the help links are actually helpful. My account has never been deactivated, I never moved the email address to spam and it is not there, I have the email address in my contacts. And I have no way of saying to allow that domain.

Maybe it is time to look for a new and better email provider
Getting unwanted emails or spam is frustrating. While most of spam emails are being caught by our spam filters, occasionally some can slip through.
When this happens, it’s very important to mark the email as Spam, then our system will learn that messages from a specific place are not good and helps us make Yahoo Mail even better at recognizing future spam emails. I am unable to stop the desktop notification that happens on my incoming emails. This happens only for one of my yahoo mails
I use Google Chrome as my browser. I have tried all possible settings to prevent notifications in my browser as well as yahoo email, but I am unable to stop the annoying message that appears as a banner notification with a sound on the top right corner. I have multiple yahoo emails, but this seems to be happening with only one of my emails. How can I stop this? Thanks.
Hi there! You can turn off notifications by following these steps:
1. Click the Settings icon | click More Settings.
2. Click Notifications.

You can switch to Basic, by going to Settings>More Settings>click ‘’Switch to Basic’’ located under the left side menu.

Format
Let me FORMAT my mail -- type size, margins, boldface, italic, etc.
You should be able to edit your writing when composing by clicking the buttons located on the bottom of the Compose page. If you do not have them, you might be using the Basic version of Yahoo Mail, and you need to click the ‘’Switch to the newest Yahoo Mail’’ link from the top right corner of Yahoo Mail page.

Remembering passwords issues
My phone is linked to my email accounts to protect my email from hackers. My problem is having to change my password too many times, when yahoo is supposed to remember it, since I clicked remember me. Yet it fails to do so. If it says remember me, and a phone number is attached to the account, it should only go to that phone to send the code to gain access to the account. Not have to keep resetting the password.

You can always type mail.yahoo.com in your browser to go straight to your mailbox after signing in.

how to remove one of my recovery emails when the edit icon is not available?
I have tried on the mobile app and via browser but I can't remove an email address (no edit icon) that I no longer have access to; hence, no longer appropriate to be in my recovery option. Kindly help

Hello there. If your browser is saving your login details, please clear your cache and cookies then check its settings to not save passwords.

I tried to create a business account to then forward to my already existing yahoo account. This is a let down. Will have to go to Gmail now.

Stop adding alternate emails into my Yahoo mail without asking me first.
Your instructions for removing extra emails does not work. Email alias does not exist. There are emails there that aren't even mine. Please remove all extra emails or give me the means to accomplish this task.

I am trying to setup my birthday such it is setup on 01 Jan 1980.
Can you please fix this issue?For security reasons, it isn’t possible to update or change the date of birth listed on your Yahoo account, even if you entered it incorrectly when you first registered your account. You’ll need to open a new account if you’d like your account to reflect your accurate info.

retain deleted emails longer
Why does email delete after only a couple of weeks? It used to be 3 or 6 months.
By default, both the Trash and Spam folders empty automatically to keep your account tidy. You cannot change the Trash and Spam settings.
Trash deletion frequency – Trash is deleted after 7 days.
Spam deletion frequency – Spam is deleted after 30 days.
