  2. need forwarding capability back.

    I tried to create a business account to then forward to my already existing yahoo account. This is a let down. Will have to go to Gmail now.

  3. Stop adding alternate emails into my Yahoo mail without asking me first.

    Your instructions for removing extra emails does not work. Email alias does not exist. There are emails there that aren't even mine. Please remove all extra emails or give me the means to accomplish this task.

    Don’t get locked out of your Yahoo account! It’s important to keep a valid mobile phone number or email address linked to your account in case you ever lose your password, want to switch over to a secure, password-free sign in, need to verify your identity if you sign in from an unfamiliar place, or want to receive notifications of changes made to your account.     For security reasons, it isn’t possible to update or change the date of birth listed on your Yahoo account, even if you entered it incorrectly when you first registered your account. You’ll need to open a new account if you’d like your account to reflect your accurate info.

  6. emails goes to the wrong folders due to wrong filter settings

    I have too setup too many filters and I cannot tell which filter cause the email going to wrong folders.

    Can all search in the filers or have a feature to export the filter into the file so that I can figure out which filter is causing the issue?

  7. I don't receive mails which I NEED TO GET

    I need to get ALL mails coming from ricardo.ch. Although I have all their addresses in my white list, I don't get their mails (i.e. info@ricardo.ch). This is not the first time this happens, and I hat it! Please, HOW CAN I TELL YOUR MAIL PROGRAMM THAT I NEED ALL RICARDO.CH MAILS?????

  8. Change News Feed Setting in Yahoo mail - Please

    Change the news feed setting in yahoo;

    Either: allow a choice of what news source to view, add an option to turn off the news feed altogether, or present news w/o bias or leaning.

    Been with yahoo since 1995. Please do not cause us to abandon Yahoo over these forced tactics to promote a particular political ideology!

  9. Receiving emails from the equivalent .com domain

    I have an email address ending .co.uk. This means it is impossible to create or receive emails directed to the .com equivalent address. Previous answers posted from technical support do not work. Maybe these are old responses aimed at a previous version of yahoo.

    Hi there,

    Within Yahoo Mail the option to switch to Basic is still there. Once you click on the gear icon you will need to now click on more settings. You will see the option to move to basic on the left-hand side bar.

  12. My email notifications Sucks

    My email notification is turned off and I never turned it on in the first place, however I am now getting notifications. --- Yahoo needs to fix this.

    Hi there,

    You would need to make sure that notification on both the Yahoo app and the mobile device are turned off. You can check this within the settings of the app.

  13. Length of time for keeping emails in In Box

    I keep certain emails in my In Box that I prefer to keep for more than 6 months and they disappear. I cannot find them. Only one month at time will be retained in my In Box for some reason. I want the option to choose how long to remain in IN BOX.

    Hi there,

    Emails will not disappear as long as the account is active.

    If you are noticing that emails are being deleted this could be due to how the account is being accessed outside of yahoo.com or the Yahoo App.

    We see this when a 3rd party email client such as Outlook or a stock mobile app is being used.

  14. Allow me to turn off the news notifications

    2 days ago, I started receiving a news notification on my cell phone through my yahoo email. I do not want to see these news updates. It's all doom and gloom. I'm halfway intelligent and if I want to read news about the virus, I'll go find it myself. I do not need it forced upon me! So, how do I turn off the news notifications? Thank you.

    If you are currently using the newest version of the Yahoo Mail app, you are able to disable these notifications. Click your profile picture, click notifications, and turn off the coronavirus updates option.

  15. Yahoo email not blocking the emails from particular addresses

    I have blocked two email addresses in security and privacy tab . Here are the two email ids
    1. ********@yahoogroups.com
    2. *
    ***********@yahoogroups.com
    Still I am receiving unnecessary emails in my spam folder . What is the the problem with Yahoo email ? why it is not able to block emails ?

  16. Trash folder

    Looks like my Trash folder holds only the most recent week of deleted emails.
    Please let us keep emails in Trash for AT LEAST a month, preferrably two months or three.

    I'm using only 0.6% of the 1Tb storage.

    By default, both the Trash and Spam folders empty automatically to keep your account tidy. You cannot change the Trash and Spam settings.

    Trash deletion frequency – Trash is deleted after 7 days.
    Spam deletion frequency – Spam is deleted after 30 days

  17. You mail security option for outlook or other apps sux!

    I can't use outlook on my desktop! Because I do allow thru yahoo mail with generate password and ******** and it keep asking same password again and again...

  18. Please give me an option of when my trash folder will get emptied.

    I use my yahoo email for business. I sometimes need to go back to my trash folder and it unfortunate when the email I need is older than 7 days because it is gone.
    Please give me an option of when that folder will dump or a choice of how long it automatically dumps.

    It is against our Terms of Service to use Yahoo Mail for business. You can always sign up for a Yahoo Small Business account, at https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com.

    By default, both the Trash and Spam folders empty automatically to keep your account tidy. You cannot change the Trash and Spam settings.
