Delete old messages
I have been with yahoo for a very long time. Can't there be a way to delete more than 50 messages at a time, If there could be a way to set up the parameters such as anything before a certain date can be deleted it would save such a great deal of time.

I want control over when my trash gets deleted!!
There should be a setting that allows me to choose how often my trash gets cleared out. I don't want to archive everything but I often delete something I ended up needing. There is no predictability or order to when items get deleted from the trash that I can see.

Setting to automatically forward emails needs to be added
In the older Yahoo Mail. In the Settings for account, if I click on my main account and scroll to the bottom, there is a setting called "Access your Yahoo Mail elsewhere", which allows setting up an email address to forward emails to as well as a setting whether to "Store and forward" or "Forward and delete". Both of these settings are missing in the new Yahoo Mail settings.
That means people who have this enabled can't turn it off and people who have it disabled can't turn it on.
Please add these settings.

no boxes next to email to check and no choices to move to selected file, ie; spam, bulk mail, etc. No way to BLOCK.

Filters
Please update the Filters! Thanks!
1. Need a Search tool to locate a Filter.
2. Need to arrange them by Alpha order.
3. Tools at top related to add, delete or up/down arrow to move filter is not visible if you have "many" filters and you are scrolling down. -
Text color
I notice you offer black text if you have a white background. But I want a colored background. And with the colored background, you only offer white text. I want the option of having black text with a colored background. Please. It is easier on my eyes. I do not like being forced to upgrade to a version that does not have that as an option.

news videos on email
Would like to have a way of permanently blocking yahoo news videos from the email area. I realize this has been posted many times, but none of the requests show responses (or how to achieve this) yet all of them have been closed. I'm probably not the only person that this type of responsiveness (not) pushes to other email services.

Widen the left column / view of inbox and folders
I would like to widen the left bar with all the folders. It's too narrow and doesn't allow me to widen it.

Bring back Alias feature
Pls bring back ability to recover and/or create Alias function as i deleted the Alias accidentally and henceforth it is inconvenient to log in to yahoo account. Thx.

Filter or block by domain
I have another idea for Pro accounts. Allow us to block domains. I know this feature previously existed under Blocked Addresses, maybe this could come back as a Pro feature? Unfortunately, many spammers change the part before the @ sign daily so "Block Sender" is really of no use to mitigate these spam offenders.
Also, if any of our Filters are set to send to Trash, then shouldn't they occur before the Yahoo Spam filter? I keep getting email (that I have a filter for), being sent to the Spam Folder. I don't want to see it in there, especially…

LET ME DISABLE THE NEW TRENDING NEWS NOTIFICATIONS FEATURE IN MAIL. In settings, I can only enable/disable desktop notifications. I don't have a way to shut off these annoying new news notifications that pop up in the Yahoo Mail tab.

SPAM BLOCKING can mark a specific bogus sender
which is most likely a random spoof --- BUT I'd like the option of blocking (all) * @<real name>.COM -- that is ALL email from the provider named after the @ sign -

Wow, that date separation ('earlier this week', 'last week') REALLY is a drag. Really breaks up the view for no reason.
Date separation ('earlier this week', 'last week', etc.) REALLY is an interruption in the view for no reason. It's a complete drag and a distraction. I KNOW when emails arrived; the date is right at the end of the line! A real nuisance but we've been over this already, haven't we? And the trash can for emails is inconvenient. Should be where it was; near the sender area. The new features mentioned take you all over the page unnecessarily. Makes for inefficient operation. Trashes speedy work.

I think that you are taking for granted that people will like the awful new email page. I like the black and white and not all the colours. There is no bar giving sport etc. This is something that I use quite a lot, please return it. You don't really give instructions clearly about how to revert to the old system. Please do so. Thank you. PS. I am not very good at working changes so please make it simple.
