  1. column size too narrow

    Column size in inbox is too narrow to see sender name. Allow users to resize inbox columns or widen the middle section of the page to better see email name and subject. The main part of the inbox has been compressed to occupy only about 1/3 of the page. As it is now, I'll have to switch to a different email provider if you don't fix this. Why did you change it? Please fix it. Thanks.

  3. Go back to the old email. Best improvement you can make....

    Why do I have to go through a two step process just to delete my spam messages??? I just want to delete the **** spams, I don't need to double check to make sure I'm not deleting anything important.

    Just select "all," and click delete. Done. Oh yeah, I also DON'T need to separate my emails by Sunday, Saturday or previous Thursday inbounds. I can read the dates...

    Just give me back the old emails, and quit trying to "improve" it...

  4. Have suddenly stopped receiving emails from Xero. Not gone to spam, no filters set? Tried "contact us" option, just keeps returning to start

  6. Would it be a problem to outline the "Delete" button in red, or the "Delete" all in red?

    It would be very helpful if the "Delete" button in the mail panel were in red or outlined in red, or some method, making it less probable to accidentally alighting on a neighboring button.

  9. bug with icons moving

    When clicking on the "delete" icon at the top of the email list, the position of that icon (the row of them) shifts left and right. Appears to be centered, but different width things are placed along the right side of the screen, which changes the width, which moves the icons. This is a bug. User should be able to repeatedly click the mouse button to delete several emails in a row without having to chase the button.

  10. search emails alphabetically

    Why can't I search alphabetically my emails? that way I can scroll and read emails only by Home depot, or amazon, etc....or delete all emails by that sender.
    AT@T lets you do that, its so convenient to delete unnecessary emails all at once.

  11. Advanced searches for phrases

    It used to be possible to do an advanced search for phrases by putting quotes (inverted commas in British English) around the phrase. Now it searches for each individual word in that quoted phrase separately, making the search results useless. This applies to both paid an free accounts. Please restore this functionality so I can actually find things I'm looking for.

  12. It would be helpful if I could select all mail from a sender and hit delete, but any starred ones would not delete.

    It would be helpful if I could select all mail from a sender and hit delete, but any starred ones would not delete. So that all mail from Staples ( example )would be deleted, except for my receipts or orders that I starred as they came in. That would save Yahoo space as well.

    IE important mail would need to be unstarred to delete it.

  13. Be able to close the SETTINGS field in mail

    I have over 18" of screen space for Yahoo mail the first 2 sections of yahoo mail screen are the same a column for compose, inbox and other folders. Then the regular wide column that contains the day, sender, email title and first line. There used to be a small settings area that would open when you needed it. Now it is on all the time giving me the large circle with an image or letter for the owner followed by information about the sender and do I want to add or update that sender. It is a waste of…

  15. Why is the subscription shown in areas where it is not available?

    The yahoo subscription for the email is shown as an option for upgrade for many countries, but when you actually look at the details, it is US only. Why bother to show the upgrade option if it is not available for everyone. You can check if the user is from a different area ....

  16. message deleted - pop up window bar duration

    The deleted message has an undo window that is blocking the tabs behind it. ALSO it lasts way too long! (I can just go to TRASH if I needed to restore it to inbox anyway.) So...

    Either - let me move the box to another window position and LEAVE it there permanently. NOT blocking anything it covers.

    OR - make it disappear in 2 seconds...

    OR - eliminate it completely as it isn't important.

    OR - give us any or all of these options in settings.

  18. Impact of latest email authentication standards required of sender emails are causing yahoo email cutomers to not receive valid emails

    Dear Yahoo Mail developers,

    Unfortunately Yahoo Mail's latest email authentication standards implemented in 2024, that now require sender email servers to autheniticate email being sent to a yahoo email account (per new standards yahoo established and is implementing now) are causing multiple yahoo email cutomers (like myself) to not receive valid emails needed.

    As a yahoo email customer, this is quite concerning. It is causing a serious break down in communication loop with individuals I have been in contact with (exchanged email with previously - suddenly broken and preventing others from being able to respond or send emails and informaiton…

    I was tortured by a whats app call
    I thought it was real and showed him
    the yono app that i had logged in.

    in future we need to block all non sense.

    So I am coming up with corrections that needs
    to be done to the online - web app and phone
    software updates.

    we need to build a database of illegal cpu id
    and phone imei number that has to be checked
    before logging in to any bank application
    either by phone or by web.

    Alternatively
    login should be allowed
    from 1 desktop/laptop and 1 phone…

  20. Recover or forward e-mail from a former e-mail address

    For those of us who thought we changed all accounts tied to a former e-mail address, it would sure be nice to have the option to either forward all mail to a new address for a short duration after account deactivation, or to be able to "pickup where we left off" so that in the event that we missed an account we don't use frequently, we have the option to receive the vital e-mails we need to change the last few accounts we forgot about...
