password updating

Changing something just to be doing the same thing different with no other reason than to just change it makes no sense
I only had one group and somehow you made that group disappear. They are still in my contacts but not as a group. I don't see the icon for groups either?????????????????And when you have a group one should be able to delete an individual with two clicks. 1. delete 2. confirm

Notifications with Yahoo Mail app and IOS do not work at stated
I have an iPhone11 and an iPhone 15 Max Pro, and both have the app Yahoo Mail
Your instructions for having sound notifications work with an Apple device are incorrect.
Let's say I want the Yahoo Mallot as the sound for mail to my @yahoo.com account and a different sound for all others. it's not possible to do what I just asked.
It's not even possible to get the Yahoo Mallot to be an IOS email tone.
I hope people realize that if these features are being talked about with investors that they know it's smoke and mirrors.

Deleted Contacts Stay Deleted
Whenever I delete a contact, it reappears within a few seconds. Please delete for good. Alternatively, allow an Import to erase all existing contacts firsr.

I block a scam sender & still get emails from them.

Inbox is overflowing. Messages don't "move" to a folder. We need an inbox without categories, and not an All Mail!
Inbox. When I move something from All Mail, to a folder, it does not remove it from the Inbox. The inbox is overcrowded making it difficult to locate important messages. The different categories are a hinderance as now I have to search five areas instead of one. This is time consuming and frustrating!

"No New Emails" message in the top tab
Why does it now say "No new emails" in the tab at the top? Previously that tab just contained my email address and - Yahoo Mail, unless there actually was new mail. Now the extra unnecessary words makes it look like there IS new mail when just glancing at it quickly. Is there any way to opt out of this?

Font is LOCKED in TINY!
Font is locked in TINY. Settings DO NOT RESPOND when I change the font to LARGE, which is what I want.

The ICloud icon was removed. I can no longer attach files from iCloud to email which I HAVE TO do for work.
The yahoo mail app ICloud icon was removed from my iPhone and my iPad so that i can no longer attach files from iCloud to emails. Without this i cannot do my work. It allows me to open web browser, type in email, type in password, get sent authentication code, type in code, open email and there i can attach files via the paperclip in the subject line. I contacted yahoo and was told they removed it and that’s that. Now i have to learn a new email provider and that sucks.

Tech Support for Yahoo Customers in Australia
Yahoo support has been horrendous to get in touch with. I have an email address which I can't log into and clicking the forgotten password link sends a recovery email to a Gmail account which I have lost access to. Now, I require tech support help, and I called multiple international (US) numbers and tried Yahoo Specialist online which just keeps going in a loop back to the main page. I would even have tried to do the premium support, but that also came back as something which is NOT available in my area.

Please go back to the plain basic email. There has NEVER been an improvement when new versions take over. Please--I will pay for the old basic version if you promise to leave it alone.

Ungrouping grouped conversations but still keeping email chains from individuals would be so helpful
Being able to separate out conversations after sending an email to multiple customers would be extremely helpful. As it is now, when someone replies to a blast email I send, ALL of the conversations from ALL customers are all kept in one email which makes it impossible to see all individual conversations and keep them organized.

Scroll to top icon block the trash can icon on the very last email
I use three column to read the email. In the middle colum of email list, problem occurs when I scrolled down to the end. for the last email, the "Scroll to top" icon is just on top of the trash can. Please move the "Scroll to top" icon somewhere else of move the trash can icon to the left. This problem only on last email.

After giving my password I can not remember the security questions because for years I was using the windows "mail" for this account and I have formatted my PC .. Also I cannot afford costly phone calls to England. I don't want to lose my Yahoo account. So I propose security verifications via mobile phone number !

I've waited for hours on end for a representative, but no one ever answers. the "we apologize for the delay" comment is hollow, insincere and BS!I'm sorry you're having this difficult experience, but we really do try to provide the best possible service we can for our users and are here to help, not hinder. We genuinely apologize for anything that gives a different impression.
