DUMP YAHOO MAIL, failures, TOO many failures. "NEW" Yahoo mail Nov. 2017 is BACKWARD to 1980 AOL type email.
What a junk email program. Not allowed: spellcheck, new folders, hence; no new friends bc you can't file their mail, no contacts list FOR THE USER, Yahoo decided to run it and like an addict adding total strangers, wierd people, malovent people who are family members and one night stands of people you may do business with.
YAHOO reminds me of a powerful ****** or even a Pedophile grooming it's victim; making decisions for the victim to supply the Predator's needs and ego. Missing emails? Must be using YAHOO Mail! STRANGERS APPEAR IN THE ADDRESS; TO: NO- YOU CAN'T DELETE… -
This. This freakin' "You have to add another program." & allow Yahoo to share your information so you can see your whole screen.

I miss the DELETED option on email. I often delete an email and wish I hadn't and with the new format I cannot retrieve it.
Reinstall the "deleted" option so that emails can be retrieved.

Fix Filter Settings
Make my old filter settings work. With the old system, I got 20-30 spam emails/day. Now with the new system, I'm getting 300+ spam emails/day. I'm tired of weeding through them to make sure a valid email didn't get put in spam by mistake.

special characters search and move
When moving an email to a folder and using the search function special characters are not recognized.
E. g. I like to name my folders "abc.xyz". Entering "abc." in search the dot is ignored and I get no result. -

When moving an email to a folder and using the search function for the folder, the whole directory structure should be shown.
E. g. moving the email to folder abc\def\ghi you can search for "ghi". If you have two subfolders named "ghi" it does not show the whole structure.
That by the way works with the mobile app (at least on Android), why not in the browser version? -
To whom it may concern I did not agree to the new yahoo platform/upgrade nor did I agree to it being changed. I want what I had before!

mouse hover over closed folder should expand to show child folders
i want to drag a message to a folder, but the target folder is a child of a collapsed folder. hover over the collapsed folder should expose its child folders. then the drag and drop is smooth. the flow is i am reading messages one by one; i want to act on this message. the present implementation gives an obstacle to smooth action.
