Please ease right to left writing.
In the first use of the new system I was disappointed since many of my composed emails are written in Persian which needs right to left writing. I gmail, the composer nicely detects the language and automatically change to right to left when I write in Persian. Previous version of Yahoo composer was better that the new one for this need.

Doesn't work with Chromium
Tried it with Linux Chromium. Emails have 200 lines of gibberish code in them when I forward or respond to an email. Going back to basic mail makes no difference, no selection for reverting back. A page popped up and said I had to update my browser, I chose no and to continue with yahoo classic mail, but it looks and acts very differently. It doesn't revert to classic or basic or anything. Now I have to install firefox just to compose emails properly (installing last stable version of Chrome didn't work on my system). So Chromium maybe needs to…

Allow wider width for preview pane permanently
I regularly use a large monitor with the resolution of 2560x1440, it would be great to take advantage of the space and allow for a wider width for the preview pane as it feels a bit cramped at the moment. I know you can expand the pane but then it collapses as soon as you view another email. I'm guessing it's to fit in ads which is fine but for large monitors there is plenty of space to fit everything.

Alerts in folders
Can we still have alerts of new messages in folders? Guess folders are more important classificatory than the general inbox

the 'width of the ad section should be less wide; it takes up too much space and is only annoying!
so everyone agrees the add space is only annoying your followers--

sort by date, to and from and bring back the "People" Folder...
Sort by date - would love to enter specific date you remembered receiving an email on. To and from - it seems like you can use the search bar to just type in a name, but would like to click on a specific folder to search within.
People Folder...this was the best feature...clicking on it to see if any actual people have emailed instead of scrolling through a sea of retail junk was so helpful! Please bring that back....and SOON!!!

Keep choices (views, sort order) from previous session
When a user logs into Yahoo Mail or simply refreshes the current session, please keep the choices that had been used in the previous session. For example, I prefer to have the Views section (Photos, Documents, Tutorials) hidden and I prefer the Sort By order for messages to be Unread. However, every time I log in or refresh Mail, these settings revert to the default and I have to change them again.

create folder when in email
when reading an email & wanting to file in a folder, if the folder has not been created you must go out & create the folder then go back to the email to move it to the newly created folder. You should be able to create a new folder from the email view or when in the email.

Allow users to hide individual mailboxes
I don't use certain mailboxes, such as Unread, Starred, and Archive. It would be nice if I could hide these mailboxes, so that there is room on my screen to see all the personal folders that I've created, rather than having to scroll down to see the entire list. The other option is to decrease the amount of space between mailboxes and folders, so that more can be seen on the screen at once.

rules and forwarding
Allow forwarding certain emails based on defined rules / filters: nowadays one can only forward ALL emails to 1 address and that's really poor functionality - I'm actually considering switching to GMail for this reason alone.
Thank you -
the text used are of very small font - very difficult to read!
use larger font size and darker color of prints on white background.

How can I get back to the old one? I don't like how I view photos on my email. Before I could download or just view them in a larger forma
As stated above, I don't like how I can view the photos that are sent to me on my e-mails. Now they can only be downloaded. I liked the old format where I can view them larger first.

How do I move the VIEWS below FOLDERS?
As above. VIEWS are just in the way. How do I move them out of the way?

I need a way to collapse all emails in an email string. Otherwise I will be scrolling forever.
You can click on the header of emails to collapse them. When I click the dot next to an email in the email list it uncollapses all the emails in it, and some email strings are too long to scroll through.

Ability to Move One Email in A Conversation to a Folder
Need ability to move one of email message that is part of a conversation to a folder. Currently, the only option is to move the entire conversation to a folder.
There is an option for each individual message within a conversation to Delete Message, Archive, or View Raw Message. An option to move the selected message to a folder could be added.
