unread messages
Just tried to put all my unread messages somewhere else...and now they are all gone.
If you’re missing emails, you can try doing a a Search in your mailbox or an email restore. Be sure to check the Trash folder for any restored emails.

In the old email I created "Purchases" file and deleted them when I received the products. New email will not allow me to delete these emai

in a "Purchases" folder. I normally would delete these emails when
the products arrived. What the heck have you done???????????????“Purchase” view isn’t a folder, it’s just a saved search of emails in the mailbox, therefore, you will have to delete the email from the Inbox.

If you’re accessing Yahoo Mail through the desktop web site or the app, then IMAP is not being used. If you’re using a non-Yahoo Mail app like Outlook or Thunderbird, then the IMAP settings should look like these:

how to block spam from domain @*********.com? I block send but it just changes the user and they're all from same domain.
@******.com is 100% SPAM and cannot block the domain
The best you can do is to report those messages as spam. (https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN3402.html) Depending on the number of similar reports, our Anti-Spam filter may take some time to react and start actively blocking them from reaching you.

hello have tried using yahoo app on phone but to proceed need to use fingerprint sadly after years of work have little finger prints left
have not enough finger prints left to access iphone
You can disable the security check via Yahoo Mail app > Settings > Security > toggle “App unlock”.

So true! In the privacy controls, the unsubscribe option has no save button. So when you leave the page by x'ing out or use back key, it defaults to NO, CANCEL. What do you mean, we have a choice?! Totally rigged, aside from the tricky wording so people think the NO, CANCEL means no ads and cancel subscribe. What a bunch of corrupt manipulators!! failed renaming folder
I cannot rename a folder. It has no sub-folders. Each time I try, it gives me a message "failed renaming folder" but does not tell me WHY it failed. (This option is critical because I insert a digit before my folder names to control the sequence. I am no longer using folder "3 Xxxxx", but it is blocking a more frequently used folder since I cannot rename it.)

Copying pictures onto email text
With just 4 days to go I still can't copy and paste pictures onto my emails. It does it when you prepare the mail but then sends with no picture or a tiny attachment at the bottom. Useless! No problem with old style mail. Use for work so am now forced to open email account somewhere else. Thanks Yahoo. Been with you since 1996 with no problems. "If it ain't broke, why fix it?

Not Receiving E-mail
When sending emails to user@yahoo.com from my domain emails are not being received and no errors also after 4 days can someone tell me who can i speak to as can't find any help contact
When emails aren’t received, there’s a few things to check:
- Make sure the sender isn’t getting an error
- Check your settings to see if senders may be getting blocked or filtered

BEFORE, IT WAS EASY TO GET INTO MY INBOX, JUST WRITE MY USER NAME AND PASSWORD THEN I CLICK TO FIND MYSELF INSIDE, NOW ITS VERY BORING TO DO SEVERAL STEPS AND RECEIVE A DIFFICULT NEW PASSWORD TO GET INTO MY INBOX, PLEASE TAKE ME BACK TO THE OLD EASY STEPS..

email crashing on iPhone 7 thru iPhone Accounts feature and not loading thru the Yahoo app
As of Tuesday, 22-Jan-2019, email on my iPhone 7 and my husband's is constantly crashing and/or emails do not load. We showed the issue to Verizon, they ordered replacement iPhone 7s and we still have the same issue with the new phones. We've also deleted all of the email accounts thru settings and added them back in. The Apple store pointed out an, "Allow apps that use less secure sign in" option which we selected, which didn't help. We also tried using the Yahoo app on our iPhones and the loading wheel spins on a few of the accounts and…

To create a new folder, please click the ’’+’’ icon in front of the New Folder.

Navigation after deleting a message
Clicking an email open and deleting it, would've expected the navigation to return to the previous page (inbox items). Now it showed the next message right after deleting, might be confusing if the emails are the same title replies, since the user didn't navigate to the other message in the first place.
To change this setting, go to Settings-Viewing email-After moving a message.

Nope, when I log into yahoo mail, the first screen that comes up is Yahoo news, then I must click on the mail icon.
To sign in directly to Yahoo Mail, type mail.yahoo.com in your browser and check the ‘’stay signed in’’ box.

CHANGE THE FONT!!
FONT is awful!!! It is very hard to read! At least let us change that to a softer font like the classic version had! It is just plain ugly and difficult to look at!!!
You can adjust the default font sizes when composing emails in the More Settings section of Yahoo Mail.
To increase the display font size, you can hold down the CTRL key and press + at the same time.

Stop auto add contacts
You must stop auto add for every email I receive or send. I have over 5000 contacts and need to turn that function off and delete most of them. Please fix this ASAP!

Please provide an option to disable the "Most Popular Videos" screen on an empty inbox
When my inbox is empty the "most popular videos" screen comes up in the new Yahoo email. It's so annoying! Please provide a way to disable this in settings. I've seen other comments along this same line and the comments section for these suggestions is closed. That's not fair, either! As you roll out the new Yahoo email, there needs to be a way to comment on others' suggestions. I really hate the Videos screen. Thanks for reading.
