Why is there a Folder called "Suspension" in our list of Folders, and what purpose does it serves?
That folder isn’t a part of Yahoo Mail. It may have been created by you or synced from another device or app that accesses the mailbox.

Logging in MAIL dumps me in yahoo news.
New email login puts me on yahoo news, then I must click on the mail icon. If I wanted yahoo news, I would go there. Please give us the option to go directly to mail when logging on.
Please go to mail.yahoo.com from the desktop computer and sign in. This way you should see your Inbox and not the news.

Need to make it easier and more direct to remove blocked addresses. The Settings menu is more interested in graphics than actual settings.

PLEASE fix
My Yahoo Mail freezes when I use my iMac regardless of the browser. Noticed lately it's getting worse.

To access your mailbox directly, type mail.yahoo.com in your browser and make sure to check the ‘’stay signed in’’ box. You can then save the page as a bookmark.

remove Russian language ads
Seeing I am based in Ukraine, there are a lot of Russian ad pop-ups (on the side). The state language is Ukrainian, so if they need to be there at all, please make it English or Ukrainian.

If I verify my ID on a computer why do I have to do it again the next time I sign on there? I got a new computer at home. I usually check mail on my phone but sometimes do it from the computer when I need to share files over email. Every time I try to log on, I have to get a verification code sent. WHY? Don’t waste time adding new recipients to your Yahoo Contacts. Let Yahoo Mail do it for you automatically.
In Yahoo Mail, mouse over the Settings menu icon Small gear icon | select Settings.
Click Writing email.
Select Automatically add new recipients to Contacts.
- You can deselect this option if you change your mind.
Click Save. -
Default verification device
Where I work, I am not allowed to bring either my tablet or my cell phone into my office for security reasons. In addition, the thin client I use for my external email is rebooted nightly, so I have to log into my Yahoo account each day. The verification system uses my tablet as my first default device, then my cell phone as the second device and finally goes to my Hotmail account where I get the verification code. How can I change my settings so that my Hotmail account is the FIRST default verification system, not the last?
