ads in the user default language
I expect and can accept ads in a free mail service and when viewing videos, but would it make sense to have a filter on these ads so the ads displayed are in my default language. Now I get ads based on location that are not of interest and in a language that I have no interest in viewing. seems like it should be a basic parameter, maybe I am missing a settng

I cannot create an email group in Yahoo.
I cannot create a group email. I have searched on line and the directions take me to a feature that I do not have. The references all seem to be from the "Classic" view as well. "Older posts"

I can not find a way to email a link to Dropbox files
How do I email a link to a Dropbox file???? I can not find any way to do that.
Copy the Dropbox link and paste it in the body of the email.

What if your computer is an older version and new mail does not work?
Like many comments, if you only have an older Windows 7 or 8 this new mail just does not work, I have been 14 years with Yahoo and I am very sad no one is listening and many will leave! Bring back a choice of a very basic mail. All the adverts just make it much too slow.

Yahoo has become less user-friendly - what's going on?
Please return to the old format - I didn't ask for my account to be changed. I can't find my Contacts or how to add a New Contact

Need to be able to delete connected email addresses from "mailbox list"
Why can I add emails to my "mailbox list" but not delete them from this list? This went wonky and now emails to each account are being sent to all connected accounts and the recovery account!! What a time consuming mess.
You can remove a mailbox , by going to a laptop/desktop computer, click Settings-More Settings-Mailboxes, click the account whose mailbox you want deleted from the current list, then on the right menu that opens, scroll down and click ‘’Remove mailbox’’.

cannot manage my 264 disposable emails anymore
I cannot add or remove any of my existing and working disposable emails anymore.
Please return the old code or fix immediately this beta NEW Yahoo Desktop Mail, so plenty of bugs and without all the feautures of the old code.Once you create a base name, it’s locked into your account and cannot be edited or removed. Inline Gifs don't play
When copying a gif into an email, they don't move. However, previously sent emails using the old version of Yahoo mail, the gifs move and are fine when forwarded.
Allow copying of animated gifs.

Thank you for the feedback. When composing an email you can use the animated Gifs that are located next to the “Send” button.

Scrolling not smooth
Scrolling keeps stopping and restarting while using mail. No such problem outside of yahoo mail. Been a few weeks already

folder name hidden
Two Problem with new version which i am facing.
- I can't see full folder name.
- Option to create filter by selecting the mail is not there in new version.

Why the reduction in the size of attachments.
Why the reduction in attachment size. I much prefer the old format of Yahoo mail
The attachment size is still 25 MB, this includes the body and subject of the email.

For security reasons, it isn’t possible to update or change the date of birth listed on your Yahoo account, even if you entered it incorrectly when you first registered your account. You’ll need to open a new account if you’d like your account to reflect your accurate info.

Recently I went into my mail and found out that all my old letters were deleted, the mail was completely empty, like new, I would like to know the reason
If an account is unused or dormant for 12 months, it is deactivated and its emails are deleted, more info here: help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN2018.html
If this does not apply to you, You can try doing a search or doing an email restore if the email was deleted in the past 7 days.

In case you are using a mail client such as Outlook or the Native mobile app, emails may be deleted by that third party client. We do recommend accessing your mail via yahoo.com or the Yahoo Mail app to avoid this issue.

Security
Your new Yahoo Mail is not secure. Whenever I hit Log Out, it does not completely log me out me, because whenever I go to Yahoo Mail again, it automatically signs me in even though I do not have that option checked. Also, revert back to the old Classic Mail design. More secured. More visually appealing. Why fix something that is not broken? This new one is flawed.

Apparently your myip## spams are now refused from me to me thru Mail Delivery Subsystem so I can't block this garbage.

Doesn't work well
In the new Yahoo! Mail I cannot use italic and bold letters nor can I paste images.

Also, if you want to send emails containing images, keep in mind that you will need to drag and drop those pictures in Yahoo mail.
