  3. why won't yahoo mail memorize my login?

    Why won't Yahoo Mail memorize my login (i.e., email address)? It used to, and my password was memorized, too, so logging into Mail was easy. Now, I have to type my email address every time. My password is still memorized, so why isn't my email address/login memorized?

    In addition, I don't have a cellphone, so your repeated attempts for me to give you a cellphone number "to secure my account" can't ever be completed. Why doesn't your code acknowledge that there are still a few people who don't have cellphones?

  4. Please allow sign-out from E-mail to sign-out from all Yahoo products. Especially if the "Stay signed-in" box is un-checked.

    This is a security flaw that is being overlooked. If you sign into your E-mail account on a shared computer and un-check the "Stay signed-in" box, the user is expects to be fully signed-out when leaving. Unfortunately this is not what happens. If another Yahoo tab is brought-up, one notices that they are still signed-in to the Yahoo system. Anyone can then bring-up the previous users E-mail without a password. Please close this security loophole.

  6. Settings wheel is gutted out - no access to block or unblock adresses

    Setting used to allow us to access a settings area to block email addresses. It is no longer there . Seriously, WHAT happened to the Settings wheel >

    This is what a Yahoo Help online tells me, yet it is not there where I mouse over it. What is up ????

    "Mouse over the Settings menu icon | select Settings. Click Blocked Addresses"---not there. Just color background choice, and few other tidbits. Just like a kindergarten version of former Yahoo.
    I am looking around for a new provider.

    Once you log into mail.yahoo.com from a desktop browser on the right side of the email page you have the small house icon, also known as the Home icon. Under that icon is a gear icon with the word Settings written next to it. Click on it and select More Settings > Security and privacy > next to blocked addresses click the Add option.

  7. Cannot send out via Outlook

    I use Yahoo mail on Outlook for years. Just recently, I can retrieve the mail but i cannot send out. How can I fix this issue?

    Please try signing in from a desktop computer and if you are able to sign in successfully try deleting and readding the account on the mobile device or uninstall and reinstall the Yahoo Mail App (if you are using that)

  9. Forgotten to change phone number but won't let me change it.

    I would like to change my phone number but it won't let me. It won't allow to change it, because I don't have the old number anymore and had forgotten to change it before I lost the old number.

  12. New e-mail format bugs

    After one day of updating to the new inbox I've got a few bugs to report. 1. New e-mails don't appear unless I sign out and sign back in. 2. Contacts don't appear as I type in the recipient of the e-mail. 3. I can't access any other folder other than inbox as it just loads indefinitely. 4. The backspace key doesn't work whilst typing recipient e-mail addresses and any attempt to correct a mistake causes it to leave the e-mail address incomplete.
    Like I said, this has just come up in the last 24 hours and is hindering me…

    For the new e-mails not appearing unless you sign out and sign back in try refreshing the email page. If the problem persists might be a browser issue or internet connectivity problem. Clear cache and cookies or try a different browser. The same goes for the folder accessing and backspace issues. As for the contacts not appearing when typing in the To field, we know about this and our engineers are investigating.

  13. tech support that works

    I cannot log into one of my yahoo email accounts on my phone. My other yahoo email works fine on the SAME PHONE. I get a message to enable cookies, They are enabled. Then you text codes to my phone that do not work. This has been going on for 3 days. I have sent several emails to your tech support but have never gotten a reply. When will I hear anything.

  17. Where did the option to see the headers go? I USED that!

    1. Where did the option to see the headers go? I USED the "headers" option to see where people were so I wouldn't get scammed. It worked, every time, and I turned several people in to the authorities. I do NOT like what Verizon has done with Yahoo!

    2. Where did my disposable email addresses go? I do not see them, and your "help" response was not helpful in the least!!

    3. By the way, your response to taking away online Yahoo Games, which was to keep up with the times and help people socialize MORE is exactly backward. It took away MILLIONS…

  18. Please tell me how to fine my contacts. They were in classic, but not in basic

    Can you explain step by step how to get my contacts from Classic Mail to Basic. I am trying to compose a new email, and when I start to type the contact nothing pops up. In the Classic Mail, all I had to do was type a letter and a drop down would occur of all previous contacts used. In the new Basic, nothing happens. How am I to get my contacts to automatically pop up?

  19. "Trash"/"Deleted" e-mails

    I'm trying to figure out how to keep ALL of my deleted e-mails that are in my trash. I found out that if I delete an e-mail, that deleted e-mail is only in there for a couple days. I looked everywhere to try to figure out how to change that with NO luck. I've even tried sending an e-mail to "help" and I can't even do that.
