  4. i live on the East Coast and my yahoo email time does not match the actual time of 10:44

    auto fix the time to match the time I live in, my computer automatically changes the time when we change our clocks, please see that this is fixed, its causing issues with me receiving and sending emails

  5. emails not loading

    Emails are not loading.
    I click to open an email and just get a loading icon. I have to reload the page to get it to work, sometimes this takes a few attempts.

    This has been happening on and off for a while so I mainly use the Gmail app on my phone to check mail as the Gmail webmail doesn't seem to work with yahoo.

    On Chrome 68
    Mac OS 10.13.6

  7. Suddenly so many emails just fail to arrive in my inbox.

    The senders' addresses have not changed since 8 years ago and they have worked fine so far, but suddenly they start failing to arrive at all. Not in my SPAM box, not in my inbox. My yahoo mail became so unreliable - I am not receiving emails!!

    In order to protect all users, we temporarily block sending on accounts that are flagged with spam-like or suspicious sending habits. If you’re seeing “suspicious activity detected” or “account temporarily blocked from sending messages”, you’ll still have access to your mail and receive messages while you wait for the hold to expire.   10. unable to send/receive emails

    Hi,
    I am unable to send or receive any emails from my account. The sent folder shows the mail as sent but it doesn't reach the recipient. Mails sent by others also don't show up in the inbox.
    Please fix this!

    When emails aren’t received, there’s a few things to check:

    - Make sure the sender isn’t getting an error
    - Check your settings to see if senders may be getting blocked or filtered
    - Check your Spam folder and mark legitimate emails as Not Spam if needed

    Keep in mind that sometimes when emails go missing it’s because of another program or app the account is being accessed from. Check out this post for more info and how to restore missing emails.

  11. cant see images on mail in inbox This is occuring on Verizon, my android phone, and on my Kindle, and my desktop

    Cant see images in mail. on phone, kindle or desktop. It is a problem in firefox, chrome and microsoft edge

    If you’re not getting emails from a specific sender, it may be because they are sending to the wrong address or they are getting an error message when sending to you. If this is the case, you will need to have them reach out to our Postmaster department to try and get it fixed. You can also double-check your Mail settings and Spam folder to make sure everything looks good there.

  14. Images NOT Displaying

    Recently, I can't view any embedded images in my email - the button to "Show Images" is also missing so I am getting blank pages. I have already checked my Security Settings which have always been set to display images automatically. I have even tried to switch it off and switch it back on again but nothing works. Please get this fixed because it's really inconvenient and annoying. Thank you.

  16. yahoo mail via Chrome: network connection timed out. Please try again.

    Msg while logging into yahoo mail via Chrome: network connection timed out. Please try again.
    Able to login through other browsers. Tried clearing cache and going back to basic email etc., But yahoo mail on all browsers worked except for Chrome.

    Receiving error when sending email. Error read as " An error occured while sending the message" also it reads "message cannot be saved as draft".
    Also i am unbale to receive any email in my yahoo email.

    It can be frustrating when websites don't work the way they're supposed to. If you're unable to access a Yahoo website, but others load just fine, you may be experiencing a DNS issue.


    What is a DNS?

    DNS stands for "Domain Name System." It's a necessary part of accessing the internet. When you type the name of a URL into your browser bar, a DNS will translate that address into a numerical IP to connect you to the intended site.


    How do I resolve a DNS error?

    Try accessing the website on another browser or device. If this resolves the issue, you'll just need to make sure your preferred browser is supported and updated to the latest version.

    Try accessing the website from another internet connection. For example, if you've been trying to reach the site on your Wi-Fi connection, switch to cellular data on a smartphone.

    The timestamp on emails is based on your own timezone. Check the timezone settings under the “Viewing Email” section of the “More Settings” menu.
