When I open an email and read down - it jumps back to the top all the time
Stop interfering when I am scrolling down and reading an email. The program keeps jumping me back to the top of the email.

I'm using Firefox and it keeps jumping back up to an earlier part of the email when I'm reading. When I'm part way through an email it jumps back up, and then sometimes even while I'm still trying to scroll back down to where I was it's jumping back up again

I agree, worked with this latest addition a few months ago and it did the same then. Stupidly, after returning to the old yahoo, switched back again to the new thinking it was fixed....Nope, it isn't, when I find my way back o the old edition It won't happen again...

It's still too slow. And when I'm typing and after making corrections it jumps back to the beginning of the email and then too slow to get back where I left off. It act like it has a nervous twitch. EXTREMELY frustrating. I've started using my gmail. There is ssso much wrong with this new format. I am a loyal person but, this is fare too frustrating, nerve racking and hostile for me to continue using Yahoo much longer.

Yahoo e-mail has become a lot slower. While typing e-mail address in the "To" field the web page jumps and deletes the e-mail address typed.

IT department must do more thorough testing before releasing new versions. Always give user the option to revert back to the old format when testing with users.

Yahoo mail messages keep scrolling back to the top and you cannot even read your messages. Very frustrating.

I see this issue, too. I believe it's because of the changing ad display on the right. It appears that when it's updated, the mail viewer returns to the top.

Bring back the previous email version, simple as that.

I find this problem of continually jumping back to the top while I am trying to read the email is prevalent when viewing my email in MS Internet Explorer, but do not experience this problem when viewing my email in Mozilla Firefox.

I find that the problem of continually jumping back to the top occurs in MS Internet Explorer, but does not occur when I review my email using Mozilla Firefox.

I've noticed the EMail text window snapping to the top happens only when using Internet Explore as the browser. It doesn't happen when using the MS Edge browser, or Firefox for that matter.
And timing seems random. Sometimes it takes 30 seconds, sometimes much less.
Anyone else notice this?

Whatever my page is doing...moving back to the beginning while I am reading an email sucks. How doo I get the old email back or a different one than this.

there is too much side activity going on related to ads etc and it is interfering with focus of teh cursor. The ADS - I know you want your revenue but I don;t want them interfering with my doing work. I am not seeing this with my GMAIL account. I have had my yahoo address too long to abandon but it is tough dealing with these ads stealing focus! and slowing down the flow as they download and flash.

I note that I cannot select an email since the email list is always jumping around. i would end up selecting the undesired email.

Why is it always bringing me to the top of the email? how hard is it to fix that problem? If the new mail doesn't work properly, why not bring us back to the old one?

Fix the scrolling back to top of page yourself. I'm not doing it. Also, cursor has mind of its own. Jumps while I'm typing. Yahoo is getting too bad to use.

This is very, very annoying.... Its impossible to read the text of a two or more page email.
The back to top jumps occur anywhere from 3 to 10 seconds. I just cant read that fast. If it cant be fixed very soon, go back to the previous version.
