Space management is critical, but it is obvious that different users have opposite suggestions. There should be no "one size fits all" approach. Big difference in the spacing needs from PCs to Hand-held devices. Don't force that same spacing on all. I see no need for the views section, but some do. Let me move it down AFTER folders and let others keep it above folders.

Space utilization is not smart enough. Search bar at the top is too too big, it eat ups more space than required.

Please remove the constant Facebook advertisement that limits the space for emails.
Reduce the ize of the boxes above the emails ... ridiculously wasted space with little content. Thank you.

The top banner (with logo and search box) is way too big and takes up too much screen real estate. It's also distracting; make it smaller.
While you're at it, can you give us more colour options please, including the original email colour (whatever it was).
I, like about 18% of men, am colour blind. Some colours really scream out at me....like the light blue one you've chosen for the banner.
Thanks.

This is not friendly to sight impared users especially when printing documents. The fonts are way too small and the rest o f the paper is wasted. Also I can do without the side bar when documents are printed, they're not relevant to the message.

When I zoom out to 150% I found the settings in the top right. I was able to reduce the wasted space between email headings. But there is still way too much wasted space at the top and the left. The search box is unnecessarily tall, and there is still too much blank space. Since I have to zoom in so far, why not put the extra things from the right, at the top, in the blank space.

increase the space where the messages displayed - list together with preview and decrease the top and sides, or make it at least so that the user can change
at the moment - the Logo and who I am are way too big, after that in the main page I get 3 last messages and a 2 lines of preview - cannot read , and always have to expand / open in new window ;(
not great -

I am old enough that I have to zoom in 200% to read the email subject. There is way too much whitespace and not enough content. I can only see 6 emails titles at once, and only about 55 characters of each title. In my opinion there is enough space to list almost 3 times as many emails.
On the left I have over 100 folders. I have had this account since the 90's. There is way too much wasted space there too. I can only see 10 characters of each folder. If you get rid of most of that wasted space you could almost double the length of the folder names. -

Don't take up all the room on my screen with NOTHING.
most of the interface should be 1. the list of emails 2. the email you are currently reading/composing. You take up sooooo much room with just blank nothing.

why use so much space on the left? Where did the trash folder go? where is the spam? It was better before as one could check them and user had more control

It looks nice but I cannot see the full email from side to side without scrolling down to the bottom and using the horizontal scroll bar. Ideally, the emails should be sized so as to fit the horizontal space available. At the very least, a horizontal scroll bar should be available throughout.

manage space for mails right side and left side space is wasted , top blue heading for search bar too much wastage of space , give more space for work , advertisement is ok give space for it but do not waste space by making big boxes and showing small ad. make small fonts or adjustable .
every thing should be adjustable or manageable. -

Hi, I have a group of 12 people that I want to email. Their email addresses fill three quarters of the screen ( even though I have emailed them several times before). So I cant actually see on the 3 lines left what to check what I have written. Would you mind having a look at this problem please. Many thanks Tina

The header bar is too big. On a 15 inch screen, it takes about 1/2 as much space as message panel when displaying messages at the bottom.
