Put back the add contacts from the email.
It takes TOO MUCH TIME TO ADD ADDRESSES NOW.
I have emails going to my trash folder and spam folder that should not be there.

It's insane how difficult it is to add a contact. I should be able to hover over an email address or even right click it (whatever the case may be) and just choose to add to contacts and then immediately have a link to "Edit Contact", so I can add more information if I want. The fact that we even have to vote on this is preposterous. (Apologies this is a copy from below - Yahoo **** so bad iand they NEVER listen; not worth the time to write something new)

We can't add new contacts directly from New Mail.
In the old system, we added new contacts simply by clicking on them in an email. Now, that feature has been removed -- in both New Mail and the old mail system.
WHY???And, no, it is not convenient or practical to click on the Contacts icon and then try to remember all the details to add on a separate Contacts page.
Please advise!

I receive/send tons of emails on a daily basis. I want to be able to continue, as in the old classic email format, to be able to hover over a contact in an email address line, whether it's one I sent or received, and click "add to contacts". I don't need every single contact added to my contact list, therefore I do not want to add every single contact, just the ones I choose.

In the old e-mail you could hover over the e-mail address and it would give you the option to "Add a contact" if they were not in your contacts. Now I have to go to contacts and try to add them to figure out if they are in my contacts. Not as nice and easy as it was, in fact it is a real pain.

Too many dislikes to the new mail format (would prefer to have continued using the old classic email format forever!) to list but here are a few:
1: reply info detail missing - need to be able to see all recipients, date/time, etc. should be returned to the old classic email format
2: cannot figure out how to add a new contact from and email...used to be a simple highlight of the email address in the email itself and then a click to add to contacts. Now just highlights with no options. Should be returned to old classic email format.
3: hot button locations - these have been moved entirely too far from the old classic email format and should be returned. IE: the delete button moved from left of center to far right corner.Overall, people really just do not want this drastic change. It's hard enough getting through a day as busy as we all are. Trying to send/read/move/delete/print an email should not change so drastically that it feels like learning a new software.
Switching back to the old classic email format should be allowed and was for quite a while but now that format has even changed and is completely useless because it does not allow for the signature line to include different fonts copied into the box. Many of us are businesses and don't like that our clients start getting totally different styles of emails from us.

I this new email system, I'm not able to click on somebody's email address to add them to my Contacts. In fact, I don't see any way to add people. In the old email, it was simply and easy. What's up???

You've made it very time consuming to add new contacts by removing the option to add when you hover over a contact, now I have to do it manually. Nor can I see if they are already a contact without opening a new page and manually searching. Not exactly an improvement I'm afraid.
Also when you reply to an email the cursor position now makes the 'contact card' appear over the email content so you have to move the cursor to see what you are writing.
I prefer the old format due to this -

With the new format, I cannot assign contacts to a lists anymore which is why I have and use yahoo mail frequently. I will be changing everything over to gmail now since this is no longer an option. I cannot type in 50+ email addresses into an email.

I'm not able to add a contact anymore like I could in the old email. Before, I could hover over the sender's email and click on add new contact. The new mail doesn't let me do that anymore. Now I would have to copy all the info and enter all the contact info manually. Nobody want to take all the time to do that. It is easier the old way where you could just click add to contacts and save and have a new contact.

If I get an email that includes my email address and a bunch of other people's email addresses, why is there no way to copy all of those emails into a list? It's too difficult to create a contact list and type each email address correctly. I'm sure many people would like to do this. In the olden days, all email systems had the capability to save the emailo addresses in the To: or CC: line of an email if you wanted to do so.
