Filters
You used to be able to "filter" emails straight from the body of the email. Now there's not an option for that. Instead you have to open the settings, create a filter, going back and forth to the actual message to create the filter. Bring back the option of "filter emails like this" in the body of the email.

Absolutely agree. In fact this along with losing support for the previous version may very well bring me to cancel Yahoo this summer. Would not be the end of the world.

3/8/19: The option to "filter emails like this" has disappeared, and the filters that I have had for years are now letting some emails slip through. Please restore the old filter settings!

I also did not update because I liked this specific feature. I can't believe it's not there anymore and was completely overlooked in the new design.

Agree - this needs to be one click away. We are all so inundated with emails, there should be no reason easy filtering should be several clicks away under Settings.

There needs to be an easy way to filter emails directly from the inbox. There used to be a way you could do this directly from the Inbox by selecting the email you wanted filtered. Now it has been moved away to another page. Not sure why your team keeps messing with something that works.

RETURN THE "FILTER EMAILS LIKE THIS" quick option that auto fills in the info and you just have to add the filter name. Right now I have to open another window, select settings, and fill out the entire filter manually. Why would you do this? With how much spam that goes through email, its important that we can quickly set filters for emails that we want to the right place.

Filters that work with more key words to file accordingly.

18 months later...don't you get it yet, Yahoo really don't care what you think and they are not going to fix anything.

I agree with the other posters here. There needs to be a more streamlined way to create a filter from a selected message. The old version of Y!M had the right-click menu that allowed you to do so easily. This migrating down (at least) three levels of menus to get to the selection to add something as essential as a filter to emails is not intuitive, and by no means convenient.

"Filter emails like this" feature was essential. Bring it back! Please allow one filter to contain numerous "from" email addresses. I need to have all my retail discount offers in one folder. I should be able to sort filters by various things. Nice to sort them in order of importance but I should also be able to alphabetize them and I should be able to sort them by date added, etc. This is such a basic feature for email in 2019, bring it all back!!!!

Please Please Please allow filtering straight from the email!!!!!!!!!
Like from before. I am about to leave yahoo just because of that. -

YES!!! Why on earth would that have been removed? The only option I can see is to manually add a Filter, by entering (copying) the address (or other field) that I want to filter.

Make email filtering to folders a one touch process

New email requires extra clicks...filters also do not seem to be working often with new email versus the classic version

you need to make buttons for acessing filtering emails easy and sorting and moving folders around.

I agree and hope more people comment on this good suggestion rather than the complaining comments about hating change...

it is annoying that you can no longer access it through the inbox.
