Filters
You used to be able to "filter" emails straight from the body of the email. Now there's not an option for that. Instead you have to open the settings, create a filter, going back and forth to the actual message to create the filter. Bring back the option of "filter emails like this" in the body of the email.

Please, Please, Please. Filtering of spam you have is terrible. To many hoops to jump thru. Please make it a 1 click to block. Please stop allowing the spam.

Find a different way to block spam. Filtering spam takes to much time and also they just change their address and you receive more.

I found 100+ emails now in SPAM, and a few that went right to TRASH.

Need to be able to select a message and make a rule from that message.

This used to be easier. MAKE THE TRIPLE DOT WORK LIKE IT USED TO... add filter for this item. Why take away functionality that was fine?????

I have reached confusing info about creating rules (filters) You need more available info for this if it exists

As the number of promotional emails are multiplying, filtering the emails into right bucket can help to segregate the very important ones from the least. There is a constant need to add filtering and to move this feature into setting created great inconvenience. Unless we classify all promotional emails that might be of some use later as spam.

Agree with all the other comments - it worked well before, why take away functionality and convenience?

This is a huge downside to the new mail. Filtering should be a right click menu operation, certainly not buried. My Yahoo mail is practically unusable now; the few important messages I receive are buried in a sea of clutter.

i have a lots of emails that i realy dont need them.... and they just hurts
how can i block or filter them now with this new version? -

Totally agree. The old mail was much better for setting filters. Please restore the old feature. It's next to impossible to set a filter in the new mail.

Please bring back the right-click create filter option. This was such a great feature - why remove it?!

Please bring back the right-click filter option. This was so quick & easy to use - why was it removed?? The new way to set up filters is clumsy & time consuming.

Please, please bring this feature back to mail. I used it many times and the current way to filter is basically worthless since you have to go back and forth to multiple mail tabs to find the info for the rules you now have to create manually. What are you thinking???

I don't like not being able to create filters inside a message, either. I made this video and sent it to Tech Support, and they told me to come post here. So I have voted on all options about the filters issue. I hope they put the filter option back in and also make it where when you create a filter, it automatically filters the messages that match the filter. Other email programs do that, there is no reason Yahoo can't. Here's the video I created.

Why did you make filters so cumbersome to use? I really have to go in and out of multiple menus to add e-mails to a filter? I used to be able to click on the e-mail address and tell it to filter this e-mail. I really don't understand why you think the new system is better.

Yes it takes you to filters but it long winded trying to do it I go back to the classic its quicker. The new one take for to long.

I think Yahoo must be trying to discourage the use of filters. It certainly is much more tedious doing it this way.
