Filters
You used to be able to "filter" emails straight from the body of the email. Now there's not an option for that. Instead you have to open the settings, create a filter, going back and forth to the actual message to create the filter. Bring back the option of "filter emails like this" in the body of the email.

Agreed. Please bring the option to filter emails straight from the email itself back.

Filters can only be set through the Settings option. As far as I can remember in the old Yahoo Mail, I was able to set up a filter by selecting an email from the inbox. It will automatically populate the fields with the sender's email address, the email subject etc.

This is very annoying. I am unable to get to my filtrrs or manage them because the option does not show up in the Settings menu. There is not even an option for more settings in the menu.

Filtering my email was so much easier when we could do it directly from the mail list. Please bring back that feature! It was the only thing that made me keep this as my primary email.

The newer mail should be better than the old but its not. in the older version, there was a right click function or three dot function to simply click "filter emails like these" but these are gone now, and now one has to go to a separate filter page to fill up the details. if anything, creating filters should be made easier, not more difficult

Filters do not seem to work at all! Spammers get around them. Checking my spam file means going through over 100 spam msgs a day. Is there a solution?

As stated by others: "I used to be able to create a filter by click on an email and selecting filter emails like this. Bring that feature back."
I would go so far as to say if this is not back in a week or two, it will be the end of my use of yahoo. This is imperative to modern email...I can't even understand how a UX designer could move this....do they use email?

Pls put on tool for filtering emails in the inbox itself by selecting them from inbox, and create filters, this is how emails get filters and can add to spam together. but in yahoo... need to choose one mail separate and then filter mail of each sender.
For reference: check gmail functions for filtering emails together. -

There is not sorting by sender, by dates, by topics etc

You should have a 'Create New Filter' at the ... or right click button so that it can automatically does everything. Now it is too troublesome.

I'm unable to even LOCATE the settings for this... I need to adjust the settings of an existing filter and I'm completely unable as the "settings" tab only allow me to view how to adjust the "theme" and "layout".. which for a 13 year old might be nice, but when you're trying to handle actual adult business, the option to change the color of the header on the top of the page is a complete waste of my time.
