Filters
You used to be able to "filter" emails straight from the body of the email. Now there's not an option for that. Instead you have to open the settings, create a filter, going back and forth to the actual message to create the filter. Bring back the option of "filter emails like this" in the body of the email.

Filter needs to have capability to add multiple from / to addresses to direct all the junk to some folders

A suggestion would be to add an option in the filters configuration to run the spam filters after personal filters.
By default this can be disabled, and for people who know what they are doing, it can be enabled manually in the filter settings.
Or make the Yahoo Spam filter an entry into the Filters lists, so we can change it's priority in relation to the other user filters.I would be happy with any of these solutions.

In the older version of mail, you used to be able to right click on a message, and create a filter from that message.
Right click doesnt seem to give any options now.

Filters should, absolutely should, alphabetize automatically!!

Need to be able to use filters on emails that are put in spam. However this is not possible as Yahoo for some reason ignores user's filters if it thinks it is spam.
Not sure why these issues were closed as they ask the same question. One has an invalid solution, the other has no solution:

I have a lot of filters but the need to be sorted. Manually sorting is not worth the time it takes since you can't see where the filter you're sorting is going. I would like to see a way to sort my filters alphabetically. Also would like to see a faster way to get to the filter creation.

The old way you could set a filter from the inbox after selecting the email or being inside the email itself. The new way it much to cumbersome.

I have a million filters and it's difficult to find them - like, do I already have one for all the offers I get from Old Navy or not? I saw someone request a search function, which would be great, but I would love and maybe prefer the option to sort them alphabetically.

I am having this problem too. If Yahoo's algorithms can't weed out spam and fake email accounts, we can. But not if our tools keep getting yanked out from under us.

Yes, it is very cumbersome to have to click over to "settings" then "more settings" to set up a filter. There should be a drop-down menu you can choose when you open an email to be able to quickly create a filter for emails from that address.

Put the filtering option back to the way it was. It worked perfectly, simply and easily. Why change it? Bad programming!!!

I receive so many junk/bogus emails in the Inbox. I like to filter them out each of them and directly sent to Trash. Unsubscribing doesn't help, I still receive the emails.
Now the problem is I have to create one filter for every such junk mailer,
What I need to do now is create multiple filters for each junkmailer, like:
Filter1: From contains junkmailer1 -> sent to Trash
Filter2: From contains junkmailer2 -> sent to Trash
Filter3: From contains junkmailer3 -> sent to TrashWould really appreciate if I there's a provision for making one filter rule for all the above (using comma separated words)
What I want is club similar functionality and allow us to create one single filter (which basically sends the matched emails to Trash)
Example:
Combined filter:
From contains "junkmailer1, junkmailer2, junkmailer3" -> sent to Trash -

When I set up filters, the emails go into the proper folder, yet I do not get notification of a new email. I must randomly go to each individual folder to check for new/unread emails.

"Filter Emails like this" made the filter process about three clicks and done. Now having to go through settings and manually type everything in is now a pain in the neck. Please bring this drop down option back.

filters now is horrible, don't work at all in new format. I want and need "filter messages like that" back. Now filter function don't work at all, no matter how filter them, all filter options completely don't work, no matter how filter mails, by work , by sender - all does not work
