Aroung July, 2019, Yahoo changed the contacts format to a tiny display to the right of the emails. Not only is this format hard to use, several features available earlier have been taken away and not replaced. Before July, 2019, clicking on the contacts icon opened up a new browser tab and converted the format to the older mail format, available from around 2017-2019. All entry and management was full screen. With this new partial column display and very limited functions, here are the things they took away. 1--Ability to sort contacts (sorting by first name is terrible). 2--no way to see what LIST/CATEGORY a contact belongs to. 3--no way to add, change or remove a LIST to a contact. 4--Clicking TO when composing an email brings up a BLANK address book.. Now no way to send an email to multiple people without writing them down on paper and entering them 1 at a time. 5--No way to print contacts, especially printing by CATEGORY. 6--exporting a list to CSV works, but the resulting file is missing the CATEGORY/LIST field and several others. So, no way to use this to see who is a member of a LIST. 7--some of YAHHOO's supposed fixes to some of the complaints in these feedbacks DO NOT WORK. I followed one fix and it told me to click on something that WAS NOT THERE. i have worked in IT for over 40 years and have been accused numerous times of telling users what they will get and not giving them what they want. Now, I am on the other side and am as mad as some of those users were years ago. I am paying Yahoo for 3 email addresses and getting slapped in the face as if I and my needs do not matter.

Tried to add new contact from an existing email and couldn't find out how to do so. Couldn't seem to edit my email groups either.

I totally agree with all of these comments. Please do something about contacts. I added a contact yesterday. It`s in the old contacts in the classic mail, but not in the new one. When I try to send an email to this contact I have to type in her address because I can`t just add it by clicking "to"

When I want to view my contacts, they appear in a new window in the old format. Please make it so that contacts can be viewed in the new format without having to go to a new page.
