spam
You need better spam filters. If I receive a legitimate email with bitcoin in the subject field, this is always followed by hundreds of spam emails related to bitcoin. Same for dating, any legit online dating emails are immediately followed by hundreds of dating spam.
I also have Gmail, and that never happens in their system.

You need to do a much better job of blocking spam. I've never rec'd so many as of lately. It's making me think I need to change by e-mail server... -

I get about 150 spams per day, some of them are repeated four or five times . I hate to have to delete them so many times

Why is there suddenly so much spam? Easily a dozen pieces an hour. Gmail does not have this problem.

The SPAM is out of control and we decent people shouldn't have to wade through it to discover if real email is accidentally there. When someone sends and email pretending to be Amazon you can easily see whether it's sent with an Amazon email address. If not, delete it. I don't care to see it and you already know it's SPAM. If a piece of email has F**KBuddy anywhere in it, you already know it's SPAM and I don't want to see it. If someone is offering to show me pictures you already know it's SPAM and I don't want to see it. Same with insurance offers. If they're not from an official email address of that insurance company, delete it. It's SPAM and you already know it. Some mornings I have over 200 SPAM items and 98% of it is ****. I didn't sign up for it. My email address is not shared around and, since you put it in my SPAM folder, you already know it's SPAM. You can delete it and spare me the nausea.

I get up to at least 5 emails from each spammer daily. Yahoo correctly identifies them as spam but can we not permanently block them? Or blacklist their servers?
Some legitimate emails go through to spam so I need to review all before I can do a bulk delete. -

I have BLOCKED some of these emails addresses added FILTERS and flag as SPAM yet these emails keep being received in my INBOX in mass. Clearly a problem as it is obvious that these emails are spam. I have stopped using this account and divert people to my Gmail account where I do not experience this problem

Even the spam that I blocked works around your system the same day and I get the same BS changing a letter or 2 and sometimes seems like nothing.

remove spam everyday I was just in the hospital 2 days and had 620 spam, if I had want the BS it would not have been there, your blocking system leaves a lot to be desired, I don't even care to remember how many I had when I spent 28 days in the Hosp. a short time back.

The same spam emails keep coming back after I flagged them as spams. At least they should not come back after we flagged them.

I prefer to transfer my choices to spam, alot of the items in Spam aren't spam at all. It's very aggravating

I've marked a lot of emails as spam from the same sender 'helpfory.com', why can I not just block a domain, and more importantly why after I have marked so many emails from that domain as spam has the system still not automatically made that association? Seems like simple logic, 30+ emails from the same domain in 1 day all marked as spam by user, but Yahoo doesn't click that they are spam. If your spam filter cannot even make that link what spam can it block?

I used to pick messages in my spam folder, then mark it as "spam", then (annoyingly) the spam would be sent from a new account next day... but at least I'd tried. Now there is no option to mark it as spam anymore. Why not?
