Please indicate if there are emails in spam! I almost missed paying a bill on time because it was in spam and I did not notice it!

This new set up is of no use to me. You are choosing which emails are spam and putting them in my spam box with no notifications! BUT most of them are not spam. Any emails from Gumtree for example end up there and I miss out on sales. If you can`t fix this soon , I`m afraid it will be time for me to go elsewhere :-(

Indicate number of unread messages in Spam folder like before, please. Thank you.

As a software engineer, this is one of the most basic UI design options in an email program. Put back the number of unread mails in spam folder, and even trash.

As a computer programmer myself with a masters degree, including UI design, one of the most import aspects for getting users to check the spam folder is to actually have a number on it showing number of unread mails. that way you know to go look in it. classic mail had it, new mail has removed it, please put it back, and while you're at it, do the same for trash.

SHOW SPAM IN SPAM FOLDER AGAIN! YOUR SPAM FILTERS ****, AND CONSTANTLY FILTER OUT THE WRONG EMAILS! I NEED TO KNOW WHEN THERE IS SPAM IN THE FOLDER!

The last time we got a "new and improved" Mail, the Folders heading no longer indicated when some folder(s) had unread mail. Eventually it was fixed. Now we have another "new and improved" version, and it has the exact same problem. When new mail is filtered into folders, the individual folders show new mail, but the Folders heading does not. If you have more than a handful of folders, this is very annoying, since you have to keep scrolling down just to see if there's any new mail.

Please return the custom folders' message count to the UI. It is an important, convenient feature that is glaringly missing from the current/new iteration of your email interface. I used this feature to know when there are messages present somewhere within my long list of specific folders and to make sure and not miss an messages that were present.

PLEASE RESTORE THE SPAM COUNT AND THE 'REPLIED TO' ARROW INDICATOR!! WHAT THE **** IS ON YOUR MIND THAT YOU WOULD REMOVE CRITICAL INDICATOR FEATURES SUCH AS THESE!

The old version told me if I had unread emails in my filtered folders. I didn't have to waste time looking thru all of them.

Yes, mousing over the SPAM folder shows how many emails. But I have to mouse over it, instead of looking, at a glance, at how many unread emails there are - LIKE IT USED TO BE. Sometimes change isn't always good ...

I see this as very very important to fix as soon as possible. I might never know how many important mails I lost because of this. Yahoo never did inform about this "new feature". Now I have to check the Spam folder every day to be safe and sure :(

I told you before that I did not want this new email because the counts do not show for the Spam or Trash folders. I may have just lost a job opportunity because a job reply went to the Spam folder and I didn't check and find it until 12 days afterward. What is wrong with you and whoever designed this email. You really think it's helpful to not show any counts for the Spam and Trash folders? It causes you to miss emails!!!!

Interesting that the accounts I didn't change - ie ones still on last great mail - the spam stopped showing whether any spam or not -strange eh? Also both old & new can't remember to not put in spam what is marked , "not spam." (several times).
I can live with this with 'old' mail-anything not to have to change .Eml to me is work - I don't need, want, pretty.

Agree, Previous version showed this. It should appear just like the other folders - in bold if there are unread and in grey dot for read. Stop messing around with appearance a get things working properly

The message count in the Spam folder needs to be visible as it always was in the previous versions.

Noticed 1 thing in particular: when I first open, New Mail appears, but nothing shows in Spam Folder. Once I switch back to Previous Version, there's Spam in the folder. What's up with that? Spam Folder empty in new version -- but NOT in previous version?
