searching
I am moving away from Yahoo slowly due to the lack of robustness from the search results. I am copying and pasting exact email addresses that I am looking for FROM AN EMAIL IN MY INBOX and it won't show up. Also need to be able to search across ALL mailboxes. Like if I accidentally deleted an email (always).....searching should find it. This account was my very first email address, and therefore has sentimental value. There is also tons of history in this account but I CANNOT ACCESS IT because the search feature is useless, which means this account is becoming useless as well.
You can find additional search support here: https://forums.yahoo.net/t5/Features-and-settings/bd-p/features-settings
Thank you!

Besides the performance problems, the search function does not run correctly. The message list appears when I use a selection criterion, but when I select a message in that list, it does not show me anything, I can't see the body of that message.
And I'm reffering at the upgraded version (free) of Yahoo client. And another precization, the browser I use is Firefox 57 version.

For any folder other than the inbox or outbox, I suggest two column headings: "To" and "From". When I respond or send emails, it isn't helpful to me to see "me" as the entry in the first column - I'd like to be able to see which email went to whom rather than having to open each one in a sequence. And the search tool really really stinks. you guys should be able to do better.

You've created a bug in search. This just started today and does it on any browser and both Windows and Mac computers. Try this... search for a word and it gives you a list of emails that match. Click on one of the emails in the list. It no longer displays the contents of the email in the viewing pane. If you DOUBLE click the email, then it brings it up. But, no amount of single clicking on emails in the list will bring them up in the viewing pane like it always has.

Email search - when clicking the search 'glass' to get all from that sender, no long have a count at the top as to how many there are. I found that useful, esp. when trying to clear out my inbox. Was a very nice feature that has disappeared.
Also, not all emails show - sometimes not even the one I clicked on. -

Something is wrong with the search. I searched for a dollar amount (left the dollar sign off) and it wasn't found yet it's in my emails/inbox. Search USED to be amazing and never let you down. Now it misses so much it's ridiculous.

When I perform a search, the results appear in a list, as they should, but when I click on a message to be opened in the Preview Pane, it does nothing. It only appears in the Preview Pane when I double-click to open the message, and then close it.

It is difficult to discover the bar to scroll down all the folder I have.
My suggestion is to make always visible the folder scroll bar

Fix the calendar, contacts, search functions. Without those working correctly this new version is not even close to being ready for PROD!

Search Engine of Mail Box
Searching a document in the yahoo mail which you have moved to a folder or it is there in your mail box in any folder is really very hard to find. Search engine should be improved on many fronts. e.g. I am searching for the scanned copy of degree certificate. I am searching as following:
Degree Certificate
Degree
Certificate
B.COM
Marklistbut it is not showing good results.

Allow searching for a folder name when browsing the folder list,
similar to when moving an email from one folder to another. -

IT WORKS LIKE ****. I can't find the documents i need, they do not show up in the search results. i could find them much easier with the older version.

Search option has been showing blank when I know the emails are there. Folders are showing up empty as well, when again there should be email in them.
Not going so well as a business email if I'm losing emails. -

Another annoying problem that has cropped up about the same time as the last: searches for recent incoming messages as well as latest outgoing sent messages either do not come up or will appear for a second or two then disappear. Clicking on the header while it appears produces no response.
I did find that if I can bring up the next in line and use the ^ arrow it will display. This works for recently-sent but for incoming mail more than a few hours old I must first find the message and with search feature and spam filter both virtually useless can take a long time. And I had to discover this workaround by myself purely by accident.
I do not like your improvements. Had been using this program the past seven years with none of these problems. Now I wonder what it will be next. -

When I search for emails by sender name, I don't get the most recent emails, I get those from at least a couple of weeks ago and further. This was not the case with the older version of mail.
