There is no "Switch To Classic Mail" option after clicking on "Settings" icon.
When I Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner there is no "Switch To Classic Mail" option at the bottom of the window. In the new Yahoo Mail the fonts are too light making them more difficult to read from a distance. There is no option in settings to enlarge type. Doing so via keyboard results in type that is still too light. Give me back "Classic" Yahoo mail.

Our Engineers made some changes so the “Switch to Classic” option in settings should now show. Thank you for your feedback.

Mail Support

I don't believe this mail is legit...why would Yahoo not let us go back? It's a scam and unsafe...I believe!

In the settings menu (top right, very bottom of menu) you are given the option to switch back to classic mail, BUT when you click the option the switch back is grayed out. There should always be an option to choose an alternative route in case of problems, like emails taking too long to load or emails disappearing and reappearing later on etc. Keep the option to switch back open. Thank you

Thanks to Timothy Gaynor (below), I gave it another look and was able to switch back to classic. Yahoo put the option way down below the bottom menu bar, so I had to select one of the other options in order to tab down to the "hidden" settings.

Switch back to Classic Mail? You can't, that option doesn't exist... if I was bitter + cynical I might well think I was having a will, other than my own, imposed upon me + the false information, I don't like the sound of this.... I might not be a whiz with a p.c...... mind you, the boys at Yahoo aren't, either, not by any stretch of the most malleable imagination - I'm talking serious elastic!!!
Yahoo Mail is a disaster zone, I tried The Red Cross to see if they could help, at least I knew they did Support!! All my mail goes straight to Trash, Classic or the New Up(?)grade are the same thing in my mind, they're both broken just in different colours. If I had to choose I'd go for the blue in the
New mail...... Broken Blue, I call it.........
So, nothing works + nothing is what I can do about it, + nothing is what Yahoo provide in terms of Support + that is the fact of the matter, you can't contact them, that's asking far too much, getting in touch with my Grandad would be more likely, he died before I was even born!!!!
Anyway, Yahoo, you've got to laugh, they're like an ESP...... it's the providing an email service bit that they struggle with, or fail miserably at is better, they talk a good game..........
If someone asked me to discredit the "Big is Beautiful" ideology, with just one word, which is a long shot, I know...... Were it to come to pass, "Yahoo!" would be my response....... I won't hold my breath in the meantime, though......"Yahoo, More Issues Than Reader's Digest!" says Si Hammer
Never mind what Soros is on about, Hammer's our guy........
A man of the people, For the people, He's no Billionaire, You can't trust a man with that much money, can you????
I say you can, I only hope I'm given an opportunity to prove as much......... If it should turn out I was mistaken, then, we'll all know our original mistrust was well founded........
Either, heads or tails, however the coins lands, we'll have definitive proof, one way, or, the other?!??!
It's beautiful, a true win, win, we just need someone to take responsibility + make it happen, for the sake of all of us........ I'll make sure my phone's switched on......... -

I hate this new mailbox! What's more since this had been forced on us I have to go to my GMAIL to answer any correspondence because the font is so huge I can't get to the send button. I'm thinking if this isn't rectified and very soon I'm just going ti stop using YAHOO mail and go directly to Gmail. GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT!!!!!

I want to add to this...when you want to switch back to classic mail, Yahoo requires you type 932 characters why you want to (WHAT!!!!) How many times can you say I don't like it. This is bogus!! Also when you complete the 932 character the option of sending that review is blocked so you cn't send it. Yahoo you need to get it together! PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT and stopo trying to force 'YOUR WAY" down our throat!!!! Thank you.

I am becoming increasingly frustrated with Yahoo. I just want my old email back. If not, I will switch to something else. Can't see the light print, can't find my contacts to change a contacts email address or delete the old one, don't know how to use all this stuff and don't want it, etc, etc, etc. etc.......I'm 78 years old and this change is just too much!

I want my classic mail back and clicking on the icon does not reverse it. I think it is unfair to force a customer to use something they do not want. I call that manipulation and abuse. Please reply to dmthepynes@yahoo.com

https://help.yahoo.com/kb/switch-back-previous-version-yahoo-mail-sln15936.html, this does not work. Settings brings me to a window and nothing is like the instructions. No Switch back to classic.
None of the attachments that I try to send to a person are able to be opened. I am close to not using Yahoo anymore, because I have to use the attachments every week. Please help me to switch back.
