I absolute hate your new format. Too few emails are being displayed. Cannot find Contact list.
Show the contact list. I am not able to find it. Also you are displaying too few emails, on my laptop only five, cannot expand window. I have this new format. How do I go back to the old one?

It should not take this long to correct the problems. The top border is too big. I don't want to know what I've read, I already know. This is it. I'm changing to gmail.

I add a new contact. Sometimes If I try to sent a message click on "To" the new contact doesn't appear in the list. Where is it???

I was on the Classic Version - playing around I switched to Basic. To my dismay, when I tried switching back, my version was gone and instead "automatically upgraded" to the New Yahoo Mail version. The worst part of all of this - in my opinion - is that nowhere during this process did I see any WARNING or pop-up or ANYTHING telling me that if I switch away from this version there is NO GOING BACK. I'm very disappointed in Yahoo for making this so painful to users - no matter how many communications you may have sent at other times about the New Yahoo Mail - there NEEDS to be a warning if as a user, you're making a change that's IRREVERSIBLE. It's just a sure way to upset customers and drive them away.

How difficult do you have to make that I have to spend so much time looking for my contact listing in order to add a new contact?

I set up my contact list alphabetically the way I want it. Then when I compose an email & I click "TO" and the list is all messed up and NOT THE WAY I SET IT UP. It was not like this before. I used to click "TO" when composing and it was EXACTLY the way I set it up ALPHAB. in the contact edits section. YOU guys made it worse.

Somebody at Yahoo never understood the old adage, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it". The new email format broke the old one which worked fine for years. What's worse, they don't seem to be fixing anything, and I get more frustrated with every passing day. Tonight I could not comment until after I logged in 3 times. Since then, I have tried unsuccessfully to log in as myself, but they insist that I am Anonymous. --Plastics Tekkie

I've tried the new version several times and then changed back to Classic and now I can't change back, which I definitely want to do for the last time. The new version is so cumbersome and hard to use. You can't find how to do things. Where is contacts? Too big to fit on the screen. This is awful. Please enable again to switch back to Classic.

See prev. comment, under:
THIS DO NOT WORK (on my Norewegian Y-page after click on the
"Setting"-button and from 1-4:Automatically add new recipients to Yahoo Contacts
Don't waste time adding new recipients to your Yahoo Contacts.
Let Yahoo Mail do it for you automatically. (REALLY!? - Befor not NOW!?)In Yahoo Mail, mouse over the Settings menu icon Small gear
icon | select Settings.- Click Writing email.
- Select Automatically add new recipients to Contacts.
- You can deselect this option if you change your mind.
- Click Save.

WHY? - Is the "new" Yahoo, NOT adding "sent" e-addresses to my Contact
list - like before...IF there is an option for this - where do I find it?

I don't like the new format mainly because there is no way to add or delete contacts from my existing contact list. Why did you ever think that eliminating contact lists from the mail capabilities would be a good thing? If you can't provide this capability soon, I will have to go to another provider. I have been with yahoo mail a long time and don't want to change, but this capability is a must for my use of email. Please notify me if you are soon going to add that capability.

The new format takes up too much space on the screen and I can't adjust the column widths (haven't been able to do that for quite some time)!

When you click Contacts, you go back to Classic Mail -- but can't use it. What's the point if this? Why was this not addressed before the forced change?

Dear Admin,
The Samsung products running Android dont have classic as an option to do as you suggest. I have a contacts list which is good but no way of adding a new contact. Please solve this issue quickly and simply, put the old version of Yahoo Mail back in place and then don NOT try to fix what isn't broken.
Not sure who thought it was a good idea to change it all but they should be put back on a broom and clean up the offices and not perfectly good, working programs. -
