New Yahoo email is nonfunctional, please return to the old version
New Yahoo email is nonfunctional. I have NOT been able to use my email since the "mandatory" switch, last week. If I didn't have so much business related emails stored in my Yahoo email, I would just get rid of this service altogether. This is truly sad....seeing that I have been using yahoo for close to 20 years....I have never been this dissatisfied with Yahoo EVER....until now
If you still find that the issue is happening in New Mail, please see this help page for troubleshooting:

This help page explains how to switch back:

Thank you!

What's the benefit of this version? Just kill it and go back to the previous version. Give the previous version a facelift if you must.

What in the Sam H-e-double L have you done to me? I never wanted the new format and yet, here it is. No, no, no. No.

Different is not better. It just keeps software programmers in business and forces users to learn where everything is all over again. Just leave it alone!! it is not broken!!

The old version performed faster and more accurately than this new one does. Don;t fix what was not broken.

I preferred the old version, easier to use.
This version seems especially difficult on mobile/Andriod. -

Security
Previous version deleted mail session on log-out from. This version keeps you logged in on re-start. Rubbish security!! Reinstate please. -

How the **** can you force your clients into a new interface that hasn't even reached alpha status?
Come one! So many basic functions missing from day 1. It seems you started this interface from scratch, but did it even worse!
So you've slowly been adding BACK lots of functions that were around for over past a decade. That's not a finished product. **** that's not even a beta! And I seriously doubt it can be classified as an alpha version.
By the way, I never agreed to this new interface. In fact, I think I've never agreed to your new interfaces in more than 15 years. it's always worse than before. I even had a paid subscription in the early 2000s which I cancelled after one of your so-called "updates". -

Please bring back the old version. It wasn't broken; why did you feel the need to fix it?
The way email is divided into how old it is takes up too much room on my screen. Besides, it is unnecessary as the date is listed on the far right.

It's a huge pain to be unable to open a message in a new tab. The old version allowed this.

I've been using the new one just a week, and (1)first, it seems to look the same; what is the point of an upgrade if there's nothing great to offer clients/me -- I havent used the photo box yet, and that might be helpful some day; (2) I hate that I can no longer highlight words and move them around on the page, I have to copy, delete, and paste, which takes 4 times as long -- (3) I hate that I cant manage my email addresses from the mail box -- I use to be able to hoover over the email address and chose to edit, add, etc. with a simple click. Now I have to go to the contact box and search and chose and edit and save... taking 4 times longer. == I will try to go back to the old version... When you've brought ALL of the OLD "tricks" INTO the NEW version, let me know.
