New Yahoo email is nonfunctional, please return to the old version
New Yahoo email is nonfunctional. I have NOT been able to use my email since the "mandatory" switch, last week. If I didn't have so much business related emails stored in my Yahoo email, I would just get rid of this service altogether. This is truly sad....seeing that I have been using yahoo for close to 20 years....I have never been this dissatisfied with Yahoo EVER....until now
If you still find that the issue is happening in New Mail, please see this help page for troubleshooting:

This help page explains how to switch back:

Thank you!

One Click AWAY! Tiring of being constantly molested about the New E mail Format! I clicked on it and was rewarded by being told that IT Is Not Available. I am also being diverted into some sort of multiple sign-in scam that makes it very hard for me to access my e-mail account. The far-left politics on your news feed sucks too.

The new one is worse than the old one. There always used to be a number next to the Spam folder showing how many spam emails I had in there. That would always remind me to look in the spam folder, because there are always a few in there that are not spam. Now that feature is gone, so I forget to look in the spam folder, and miss important emails. Why do you change things to make them worse? I want my old email back!

I have no control over what browser or what version I am allowed to use at work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's why I'm moving away from Yahoo for email.

Half the time when I send a reply a copy of it appears in the Drafts folder. No send button, of course. This is not new but in the old version it was only one copy, now it's 5 or 6, and they have to be deleted one by one.
I can't attach files over 5MB. (New bug.) The upload icon keeps spinning and spinning, but when it's done the file isn't there.
In the old version there used to be a feature where you right-clicke on an email to add it to your address book. Now it's gone. Why take away something so useful?

I don't like it. just an example: old version had block option for spam emails which is missing in new one.

It is not as quick and easy to use as the old version. The icons in the tool bar are not as well positioned. The menu is more clumsy to use and not well sequenced. The down load facility for attachments is not as practical, quick or easy to use. Not everyone wants to zip the down load or down load each attachment individually. It is not as easy to differentiate between one e-mail and the next - the old version allowed this in a quick easy lane at the box. Even the menu in the side bar is not as easy to read. The ability to right click on a new e-mail and mark it as read or delete it, etc is no longer available, this makes it much slower to sift through those e-mails that need to b read and those that don't. The facility to block an e-mail address in the spam folder either via a right click pop up menu or the drop down box in th tool bar is gone! Where are the contacts - it's no good having to access the old version every time you need to access your contacts!! The old version is better. This new version sticks me as largely being change for the sake of change with very few improvements and much retrogression!!!

STOP, I do not want you automatically deleting emails that YOU believe I no longer want, even though I read an email from the same sender several times a week. STOP with the automatic pop-up asking whether I want these deleted, I do NOT.
Below, I saw someone who could not scroll to the send button on a "compose" email. I have had that same problem, never had it before the new email.
When I first went to the "new" email it loaded quickly, more quickly than the earlier version, but after about 10 days it started loading more and more slowly. I can now leave my computer, go get a cup of coffee and return and it will just about be finished loading. What happened?

Slower than old version...wider spacing means I see fewer emails on the front page...more likely to miss an important email.

Go back to the old version. This new one is not good. I can't even forward an email because I don't have every contact memorized and I can't source my contact list when I'm in my email. You've screwed up a good thing!!
