That's what Google wants. For you to end your Yahoo account, and migrate over to Gmail. You do know that Google bought Yahoo a few years ago, right?...
Ruining Yahoo email is exactly what Google is doing by design. I know it!

Spam has increased 1000% in the last month and it keeps getting worse. I mark it as spam but Yahoo does nothing about it. There seems no way to prevent all this spam either.

Exactly right, way to many spam emails, Have to delete blocked addresses, to add new ones because you can only block 1000 at a time! You really do need the ability to block by domain only! I have email accounts from gmail and and hardly ever get spam from it. Yahoo needs to address this problem once and for all.

Need the ability to block spam emails by domain. appspot.com, rainbowcloud.surf, outlook.com, datingproject.com, globalamz1.com, mylocalgreet.com, notifydate.com, FILL MY SPAM FOLDER EVERY DAY!! Sometimes 80 per day! I block every one that comes, but the just change the names to xzqoppympltm@ and send more. I can only block 1000 at a time, and it fills up in a couple of weeks. Why does yahoo allow this horrible **** spam to clog up up the site!?

So today one daily newsletter to which I subscribe, and one message from a hobby group I belong to, were both hidden away in "Spam" which of course no longer notifies when new entries are deposited. I just happened to hover over the folder to find them; I never would have known about them otherwise. Keep on trying as hard as you can to be even shittier than Outlook.

I am constantly marking the same emails as spam but then the next day there they are again. Why isn't "spam" doing its job?

Any email ending in appspot.com is pure ****. You should require and Opt In before allowing the **** site to stuff our Spam folder!

Users need the option to block a domain name to prevent spammers who change the "name" to circumvent blocked email addresses. Tired of the numerous adult-themed messages in my spam box. I could do this on my old Lotus Notes system at work. Yahoo Mail should offer same option!!!

How about blocking spam sources ! Others do this so why not Yahoo? If I can read the headers and find the culprits then you can too. Amazing.

Better filters to direct adult dating, Viagra/Cialis and Canadian pharmacy spam away from from my inbox. There are too many ***-oriented spam messages. I spend a lot of time adding addresses to be blocked.

I just talked to Chat support about this. I am very disappointed that it is now so hard to create a new filter. On my business and personal accounts, I route a lot of similar emails to one folder for ease of access. We used to be able to right-click into the senders email in their message header and create a filter immediately. Now I am told I have to manually input their email information into a unwieldlyTools/setting option. This is a major step backward in functionality. When you upgrade you are supposed to improve functionality, not degrade it. If you can't do better than this, bring back the old version until you can. And I have yet to see a single "enhancement" that improves on my use of either business or personal accounts.

What happened to Other In Box? it quit working quite some time ago and I am sick of entertainment, shopping, all the emails that were being sorted to OIB folders are now in my inbox and I am deleteing 20+ emails a day before using my actual email to read important and wanted emails. I see other people talk about "filters" but it looks like a person has to know every email address they want to add to a filter and I surely am not memorizing them or writing them down and then going to a different screen to type them in. Bring back OIB!

Its so difficult create a filter for my emails. THIS IS NOT A CHANGE! You break something that was "working" ok in certain way. Bring an option to create filters like the other email platform I use. That has FILTERS that actually work.
