all my emails are going to spam. I have to select all the good ones several time a day. I am so tired of doing this. It seems like every time you change the email, it just messes things up. Can anyone help?

Spam filter is useless. Flags legit mail as spam yet no matter how many times i mark as not spam, the next related email is still treated as spam, eg gumtree. Cant search it to delete ones either as if you type a search term it searches your entire mailbox not just the folder you are in

It's hard to believe how much obvious spam is not blocked to all Yahoo accounts. I don't get any of this rubbish with my GMAIL account. Even worse, real emails go to the spam section, I mark them as "not spam", they end up there again next time. I again mark as "not spam", and they still occasionally end up there. Seriously, Yahoo?

Will be leaving yahoo because I block a company and they still keep arriving in my inbox. This used to work now it appears you money hungry folks will not block advertisements. I am switching to another email carrier and I am asking other to do the same. It seems requests fall on deaf ears. Wake up and do something to help the end users and not the advertisements.

I keep getting spam email, and I click to block it from coming in, then 15 minutes later, I have another from the same address and ip address. You need to fix this IMMEDIATELY!
Then when i choose block and delete all the emails come back!

I have severe health problems that have been adversely affecting my finances. A few months ago, I applied for aid with different organizations to either get car repairs or a replacement. It's incredibly important because traveling with others is exacerbating my health problems.
Early a.m. this morning, I checked my spam folder for email addresses that I recognize as usual since Yahoo Mail has such a horrendous filter that commonly dumps legitimate emails into Spam. Everything looked fine, but I was fatigued and missed something: Just as I hit the trash button, I noticed that the subject header for one of the emails mentioned my car situation.
So, I then requested a restore of the deleted emails only to find out this morning that Yahoo, for some ridiculous reason, only restores the Trash folder. Well, if Yahoo is going to keep dumping legitimate emails into Spam, then you need to either fix your filter so that legitimate emails stop going into that folder or add a restore function for those rare occasions when someone who is sick and fatigued might accidentally delete an important email.
And, yes, I know that the worry might then become about abuse of the restore function. Well, then, create a penalty system. If someone like me only does this once every few years, you help them instead of just having a chat rep say, "I'll do everything I can to help you" and then "Oh. But I can't help you since we don't offer that ability." If someone abuses it, then you help them the first two times, give them a warning and then shut off restore entirely after their third strike.
This is total BS. Your servers obviously store Spam emails to make them available via Webmail before deletion. You're telling me that there are NO backups? Come on. If I don't empty my Spam folder for days, then there has to be a backup somewhere. If there isn't, then this system needs fixed.
The only reason I have stayed with Yahoo is because I loathe all of the other email providers. That's it. But, I'm starting to think that the crazy encryption system offered by ProtonMail, which has a similar UI as YahooMail, might be worth the hassle.

The Spam keeps coming, I have tired everything that Yahoo has suggested. I have Not Seen Yahoo Try to make any improvements regarding Spam, I think when you hit block sender it actually sends your email to these companies so they can send you more spam. The more you Block the More you get. I see that people that are getting Yahoo Pro are getting lots of Spam. So switching to Yahoo Pro does not help. It just waste Time by having to sort through your emails all the time. I do not want to accidentally delete an important email.

Sir: Your SPAM Processing is way-too-weak.
Also, I do not have the ability to BLOCK a DOMAIN (such as Couponfall.com). You insist on the prefix (such as info@).
