Spam Filters Stopped Working Early December 2018
I've had my yahoo account almost 20 years. I believe something changed within the mail internal algorithms earlier this month (Dec 2018), which has caused much more spam to reach my inbox. I've been going in daily, checking the unread mail and marking as spam, however the same senders, subjects, etc. seem to continually make it through.
Appreciate help if this is a known issue and when a fix will be coming.
Thanks

Like others I've started receiving unwanted spam to my inbox several times a day. Extremely frustrating - I block, mark as spam, but keep getting the same ads and junk sent to me.
What has changed? Is there a fix in the works? If there is, please let us know. If there isn't, then I will have to change email addresses (after 20 years!!! I'm a long term Yahoo user).

You need to stop Yahoo Mail Service. This is just a Garbage Mail Account. Just giving me too much Spam in my Inbox, and ads, pop ups. Just Shutdown your Business. Please do this ASAP.

My friend and I email each other. I've sent him email. You always send his response to spam. There is no way to whitelist him. There is no easy way to add him to contacts. I'm looking for a new email service. It's amazing that your email gets worse with time.

Spammers using same e-mail addresses with added alphabets or numbers to full my Spam inbox again. When e-mail addresses are added to block senders, any email address with similar naming should also be included to future spammers mails

Disable BCC for spammers who add emails to their BCC lists to send out spam emails. I receive a lot of emails not addressed to me but I was told that I was on the BCC of those spam emails. Spammers use this as a way to get around the privacy, protection, and spam filtering safety measures on Yahoo. Help us to not receive emails that we're BCC'd on.

I receive boatloads of spam from India do not expect any legitimate e-mail from India. The number of domains and addresses used are legion. I would therefore like to blacklist the entire .in domain in my filters. However, customercare@cc.yahoo-inc.com says that this is not possible in the current implementation, and suggests posting this suggestion here. Please add support for filtering entire top-level domains.
