Help with my account
For the last two days I’m receiving dozens of nonsense emails. How can this be stopped? Thx
Hi there. The more often you mark these emails as Spam, the more you train your personal mail filter to recognize them as such. We recommend following these steps to manage your incoming emails: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/manage-spam-mailing-lists-yahoo-mail-sln28056.html
You can always create filters: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-mail-for-desktop/filters-organize-yahoo-mail-sln28071.html
If you need additional help, you can go to help.yahoo.com

Filter out emails that have an email name 100+ characters long. They are obviously spam.

I receive a ridiculous number emails each day that are obvious spam. Most of these start with a series of gibberish letters and numbers as the user name portion of the email follows by some domain name. As an example, one email may have a user name as "dxqytaktbpjucjcdtruelqzbfhzgjzxdrshjdnqkwppexdaxcvjvxdueqfltnlgkcsqbkmnfbthjjcyxngqmrbt" followed by "@" and the domain "honor.leafexact.com". Tomorrow, I'll get the same email from
"nc0ih1gaoxbhxlivxqz6jrtoiv771xrzolsejsd0s40apwxrxdmmqb4yhqylfzt9rejaogy8o8nznvaxx6nlvu8rk6nb6kznohfectxoytlw09awvtelpow3n" from "hector.breezehey.net". You should offer an option to automatically mark email like this as spam. It is getting ridiculous! -

getting unwanted emails because somebody erroneously added me as a contact then sends me to all her friends and institutions and is unable or unwilling to delete me .
i have tried replying to all these unwanted emailers to ask them to sort it out without success and now want a clickable box to block them -

The spam emails continue coming despite blocking/removing from the account. Simply it doesn't work !

About three weeks ago, Yahoo stopped filtering SPAM. Multiple ex-ATT e-mail users I've spoken to started getting flooded with SPAM three week ago. It looks like Yahoo stopped filtering so people would start using their paid service. BAD customer service.

Something happened after January 1 I get truck loads of spam messages now. Why can't Yahoo stop the spam? I get an ad to upgrade to a costly service to improve spam removal, so is that the strategy to allow it through and charge to remove it?

Do not post emails not addressed to me. Why are they in my spam folder? I am female. I do not suffer from ED problems! All advertisements for male problems. Sick to death of it.

Everyday i GET 6 TO 10 Mails from Amazon, its so iterating, that Now I have taken a decision that I will not buy a single product from Amazon henceforth. Same way all of friends have also done this.
Now a days Yahoo mail is only fill of Advertainments. Please do not send any such mails.

Need a place to put blocked emails, so they can't accidently be opened. Have reached my 1000 permitted, but they pile up daily. Thanks

I am not happy that Yahoo desactivated the option on the Spam folder, to block the emails coming from spam and dangerous sources. It does not make any sense to downgrade the service.

I received a lot of emails from scammers, who use my user name, I blocked them, but it appears again and again. It complicated and take time to report. So my suggestion put report in toolbar of email, it was before in old yahoo email.
