Help with my account
For the last two days I’m receiving dozens of nonsense emails. How can this be stopped? Thx

Hi there. The more often you mark these emails as Spam, the more you train your personal mail filter to recognize them as such. We recommend following these steps to manage your incoming emails: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/manage-spam-mailing-lists-yahoo-mail-sln28056.html
You can always create filters: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-mail-for-desktop/filters-organize-yahoo-mail-sln28071.html
If you need additional help, you can go to help.yahoo.com
Thanks,

I cant even move it to spam or all my mail failures will never been seen because its from yahoo. I get mail everyday from some company i've never heard of that is in the business of bulk emailing and business services (of course to my business email) maropost.com.
yahoo stinks on responding to us when these serious things arise. -

Yahoo has wasted so much of my time, I hope to gain some substantive result for the money, the time, the frustration.
Why do I still see ads all over my yahoo account despite the fact that I pay for premiere services which supposedly include THE ABSENCE OF ADS?!
Why was yahoo account services keeping a duplicative account active for over a year (nearly two if memory serves) rather than bringing it to my attention in order that I might spare myself any further wasted money in exchange for absolutely nothing?
I hope that some day someone DOES SOMETHING! I am sure I will have moved on by then to a resource distinguished by the integrity of its solution as well as its genuine respect for its users. I am just worried about friends and family who remain in a position of having to rely on yahoo.

Every domain you attempt to add results in an "invalid domain" error. In order to function, the Top Level Domain must be accompanied by a second level domain as well, e.g. ".surf" is a valid domain, and a nasty one at that yet, when attempting to add it to Yahoo's Doman Block, suddenly .surf is not a "valid domain". Hmmm. How convenient a way to send users travelling back to thousands of tedious, nuisance emails to dig up whatever gibberish secondary domain the phish-meister was using on the second Tuesday of March 2021. Thanks for Yahoo. You never fail to unimpress.

why is so much spam getting through lately? it's the worst I've seen on Y! mail in many years. either the filters aren't working or you're purposely letting senders bypass the spam detection for $$$. either way, the UX is horrible. pls fix

There has been a swarm of spam emails straight into the INBOX from mail ids starting with "newsletters". There is no regex way to control this. I cannot keep on blocking these email ids. If I block one now, the next hour something else come up. I have tried to raise ticket but it does not work at all. In 'Contact Us' section, it does not go to next steps after 'Choose product' step.
Example spam email ids: newsletters@rebel.digitalocrural.com, newsletters@law.digitalloo.com , newsletters@law.digitalloo.com ,newsletters@gem.goffixer.com and it goes on.. Kindly do something. It is very irritating to see these emails filled up in the inbox and clean every hour. -

I keep having to send the same types of junk mail to Spam. Are you so cheap that you can't run a quality site?

The spam is unbearable. I am not paying extra 'Yahoo Plus' for spam protect, Yahoo asking for $s for protection from spam itself sounds like a spam.

Getting ready to cancel this email address. Too much spam in my inbox. Not worth the trouble anymore.

today one of my emails again got delivered to the spam folder even though my first filter says if the address contains the domain not to and the second has the exact email address and says if it contains that to again send to inbox.
Today two emails came from that address within a couple of minutes and one got sent to the spam folder.
Apparently spam filters or something is preempting MY actual filters. -

I'll be getting rid of Yahoo soon. I refuse to pay money to have Yahoo block spam in my email. You used to block that garbage but let everything into my inbox now as a way of getting me to pay. Forget it. I'll be at Gmail soon. Good bye Yahoo.

It is Possible Yahoo! with all the technology to utilize the incoming IP address of spam junk mail & have it "bounce" back to the Sender!

Get a programmer who can write code and understands how to stop the constant spam. It is worse than ever.
FIX IT!

The spam engine no longer works well. Too many spoofed emails with invalid email addresses are getting through. If the email address is not valid it takes less than 5 lines of code to find it and toss it out.

Can't block and delete spam addresses, as before, can only delete... so will repeat unnecessarily, and waste my time in their management?

cant you provide filtering choices for ads so that if i have to see them i can at least remove the trashy sexualized ones - i dont' want to see women in suggestive poses - it's disgusting. i think yahoo is doing this to irritate the customers into purchasing the ad-free

When viewing a message the top part of the screen and message-viewing window is too big. There Yahoo logo, yahoo website navigation, search bar, is old messages in the thread, the subject line twice, two separators, if you have more messages in the same thread , you are lucky to see the. message you want to read, half-way on your computer screen. I think it is bad website/mail design. The adds already take a 1/4th, so now the stuff on top of the website take one third of the space where you want to view your email message.
