Yahoo mail is so slow
Yahoo mail is so so so slow on my computer. I've been using my college email address instead (gmail) because it works so much better. However, now that I am about to graduate I have been using my yahoo email more - but it's just so frustrating how glitchy and slow it is. I really do not want to have to get an entire new email address (I would definitely use gmail if I made a new one) but if this isn't fixed soon I'm not going to have a choice.
Please try clearing cookies, cache, history, and footprints. To do so, please go to https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-mail-for-desktop/sln27197.html
Also, please make sure to update your browser and if the problem still persists try to access Yahoo Mail in another browser.

Sometimes when I attempt to send a Draft E-letter, the mail system just hangs.
It says "Sending Letter" for hours usually never completing the task.If the Send task does finish, the Sent version of the E-Letter does not show any recent changes that were made to the Draft version.
If I reload the Mail program, the Draft E-Letter appears WITHOUT any recent changes.
Only Work-Around found.
Do not Send a Draft E-Letter in 1 step.
Instead, Return to the Draft Folder 1st and then to the Received Folder and then to the Draft Folder and then to the Draft E-Letter.
Then Send the Draft E-Letter.Or do not attempt to send the Draft E-Letter immediately after completing it or changing it.
Let it "soak" for 30 minutes.
Then try to Send it.It appears that the Mail program needs to "digest" all recent changes to the Draft E-Letter before it can send it.
Otherwise it becomes confused and cannot send the Draft E-Letter. -

Mailbox does not recognize attachments from pdf, excel or word formats and will not download to view. Urgently need this rectified or will have to look at a new email provider. Must add the old Yahoo was a lot better than this version.

What's with Yahoo? Composing an email is very slow some times. I thought it was my computer but I went to my gmail account and it worked fine.

I downloaded Helvetica fonts to use for print work. It immediately affected Yahoo mail but no other browsers or programs. How to return it to default? There should be a default setting for mail.

When I click on a Message in the Inbox, the Message does NOT display in the Reading Pane. Mail should be received instantly like gmail. And stop showing bloody video ads.

Bring the format up to date so users can avoid delays and instances where they can't log in. I love my abc account and have used it for years, but have considered changing. Your connectivity issues are why people have moved to Google email.

Attempting to read a message by clicking on it from the main "Inbox" screen brings up a nearly-blank page with the message header and the rotating broken circle ("wait for more content") where the body should be.
Attempting to delete messages from the "Inbox" view deletes the messages from the list, but when I try to log out I am told that there are unsaved changes that will be lost. If I go ahead and log out, I find that the messages have not been deleted when I log in again.
Selecting a different view from the "Inbox" view (such as "Unread," "Archive," or "Drafts" results in a nearly-blank page results in a page with the standard icon bar at the top, ("move", "delete", "spam"), a horizontal rule, and the "wait for more content" icon where the message list should be.
My operating system is Windows 10 Home, version 20H2, and the problem seems to be browser-independent, occurring on Firefox, Opera, and Vivaldi (a Chrome-based browser with Google's spyware features removed). These browsers are set to always check for updates and I have accepted all updates offered.

Stop giving me an error message saying Yahoo Mail would work best on an updated browser like Firefox when I'm already using the latest version of Firefox! Figure out why your software can't read browsers correctly so it doesn't keep freezing and quitting when I'm composing messages.

When I try to write a reply to a message it randomly scrolls to the wrong place so I can't see what I'm writing. I hit delete to fix a typo and it deletes entire message chains. WTF.
I am using Safari on a Mac.

Every single time I try to log in my account, I have to type my password in exactly 3 times for it to finally sign me in. I type my password in EXACTLY THE SAME EVERY SINGLE TIME, I check my spelling and show the password, yet it says it's wrong. UNTIL the 3rd time I type it in, then suddenly it's right and now I get suggested to change my password. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! I will not change my password every time I want to check my email, I'd rather get a new emailing service.
