Yahoo mail is so slow
Yahoo mail is so so so slow on my computer. I've been using my college email address instead (gmail) because it works so much better. However, now that I am about to graduate I have been using my yahoo email more - but it's just so frustrating how glitchy and slow it is. I really do not want to have to get an entire new email address (I would definitely use gmail if I made a new one) but if this isn't fixed soon I'm not going to have a choice.
Please try clearing cookies, cache, history, and footprints. To do so, please go to https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-mail-for-desktop/sln27197.html
Also, please make sure to update your browser and if the problem still persists try to access Yahoo Mail in another browser.

I am having issues trying to move emails into folders - The folders section scrolls by it self when trying to position curser on a particular folder making it impossible to drop the email into the correct folder.

Every single time I try to log in my account, I have to type my password in exactly 3 times for it to finally sign me in. I type my password in EXACTLY THE SAME EVERY SINGLE TIME, I check my spelling and show the password, yet it says it's wrong. UNTIL the 3rd time I type it in, then suddenly it's right and now I get suggested to change my password. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! I will not change my password every time I want to check my email, I'd rather get a new emailing service.

Email is very slow loading and will not download until the ad at the top of the Inbox loads first. These ads are just plain bogging your email service down for Firefox.

The ads don’t bother me in Firefox or other web browsers but when it causes “No internet connection” at the bottom of the Yahoo Search box. That’s a problem in only Yahoo Email. I can have the “No internet connect” in Yahoo Email but yet when I open another Tab there is no problem with the internet. When I go back to the Yahoo Email Tab it still tells me I have “No Internet connection”. Plus during this time the computer tells me that I am connected to the internet.
With these ads now the computer runs very slow. I opened an email yesterday and in the body of the email in red said “You are offline” but the email below it had no problem. This morning the email that had the “You are offline” had opened.
Also last night the Spam folder would not open. Just had two half circles spinning for over 5 minutes when I decided to log off email.
Please do something with this problem as I am sure I’m not the only one that is having issues with the ads being added to every folder. As stated the ads don’t bother me but when they cause problems that I didn’t have before they were added then someone should look into this. Why was it not tested before adding it to every ones email?

My Yahoo Calendar will not load, yet other yahoo accounts for family members is loading the calendar just fine. How can I get help for this without having to pay for it???

I was in the last stretch of composing an email when the whole thing disappeared and DID NOT save to my drafts! Every time I pasted in ONE picture, it would add the same picture TWICE. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Now, I have to start all over again....what a waste!

I've used Yahoo for quite some years using different usernames & such. The site had been quite well at one point but has faltered so much lately. I'm really disappointed how slow the system is & how hard it is to navigate through what should be very easy tasks but the site makes it so hard to do anything. Period. Question, Why should we the customers have to give yahoo our ideas? To be sure the people who put the site together should be able to answer their own questions about the server. Sad. Just so sad

Advanced images are allowed in my settings but this doesn't work for all web sites including my own.

Lately when I log in to my yahoo account and leave on as I continue working, the tab closes automatically within a few minutes, at times even when I am responding to mails. This is so annoying. Is there anything you can do to help?
Email threads have been broken for at least 5 years. Regardless of machine or browser. Parts disappear (from both the UI and search). Parts magically reappear months later. The editor will sometimes start flashing on conversation load -- one or two flashes per email in the thread.
The editor will also flash during composition if you take more than a few minutes to write your email. This is just the editor pane and not a page reload. During that flash, all sorts of stuff can happen -- including losing parts of your thread -- cursor jumping -- or, like today, accidentally archiving the email you are writing because you were typing and, with the reload, it now thinks you are hitting shortcut keys.
Yes, a real fine product here totally worth paying for. I really need to remember to download my history and then cancel the plan. Stupid me.
