Classic Mail is better -- please let us keep it
I have continued using Classic Mail for as long as I can because the overall look works so much better for me:
- I can see more of my folders and emails on the screen. The list of folders on the left is more compact.
- "Smart Views" stays hidden -- I don't have to change it each time like I do with "Views" in the new Mail. (Disabling this altogether would be even better.)
- The tabs at the top take up less space.
- The themes are more pleasing, IMO.
Please consider keeping Classic Mail available for those of us who prefer it. Thank you.

its ODD how you seem to need to change background to dark n evil - search box is ugly white agin NEEDS to be same as page OR maybe different color to see it quicker NOT white - at least you got rid of bottom scrolldown search popup + in chrome history + in top tab yur dark blue has gotten ugly Lighter blue = SICKly Yuk ! + why ?
- jus to giv your little santa helpers more to do after they fix problems ? - ""ok yahoo boss Im dun with that - wuttya want us to do now ? change format to look worse impractacle + irritating as hell -so your loyal emailers can complain overloading feedback forum +maybe go to other brand sites?""
BTWay yur TESTing my patience -

I have chosen the medium color for my theme. The bright white in the email is not a medium color but is a bright white which hurts my eyes. My old theme let me choose a darker white color. i am paying you for my email so please at east give me some reasonable choices if you reallly have to take away the Classic which worked perfectly

I have a lot of filters set up to divert incoming emails into their relevant folders - this "new improved" mail no longer lets me know there is mail in those folders unless i deliberately look for it.
For over a decade it would show "x unread in Folders" so i could then look and see, now i don't have a clue unless i manually check.
Also the old Classic Mail was easier to use and was quicker because it didn't have so many "improvements" (that aren't really improvements, they just take time and data to show on each new page) - if it ain't broke, don't fix it! -

I agree.....Too many dislikes to the new mail format (would prefer to have continued using the old classic email format forever!) to list but here are a few:
1: reply info detail missing - need to be able to see all recipients, date/time, etc. should be returned to the old classic email format
2: cannot figure out how to add a new contact from an email...used to be a simple hover to highlight the email address in the email itself and then a click to add to contacts. Now just highlights with no options. Should be returned to old classic email format.
3: hot button locations - these have been moved entirely too far from the old classic email format and should be returned. IE: the delete button moved from left of center to far right corner.
4: can no longer find a "reply all" buttonOverall, people really just do not want this drastic change. It's hard enough getting through a day as busy as we all are. Trying to send/reply/read/move/delete/print an email should not change so drastically that it feels like learning a new software.
Switching back to the old classic email format should be allowed and was for quite a while but now that format has even changed and is completely useless because it has changed so drasitcaly and no longer allows for the signature line to include different fonts copied into the box. Many of us are businesses and don't like that our clients start getting totally different styles of emails from us.

I was able to personalise my inbox to the colour I wanted and the background design. I cannot be bothered even trying to personalise this new format as the options are so limited. I do not know why you have forced the change but I may as well use any other e-mail company now as Yahoo has just joined the bog standard ordinary club.

I can't like this enough. The "new mail" is difficult to navigate on my laptop, which used to be the preferred way to access mail and change settings, etc. Please change it back!
