I mistakenly marked an e-mail as Spam
I accidently marked an e-mail as Spam and it wasn't Spam. What can I do? I want to keep receiving those e-mails and I'm afraid I won't now. Please help!!!
The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Not Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify important emails in the future. Also if you use a mobile device or email client to access your mail over IMAP, please check the Spam filters in that application, to make sure it’s not marking important emails as spam.

There are dozens of posts asking for the same thing but none of them can be voted for because they are all closed.
The spam filters are imperfect and often important emails are sent to spam, even after I've reported messages from the same sender as not spam.
If the unread number would display like it does for the inbox then users would be less likely to miss emails.
I know I can hover over the spam folder and see the number unread but that still requires that I remember to check it. -

The spam filter is not working any more. It certainly does not learn from our input. Important mails keep going to the spam folder.
Please solve this important problem !!!!!! -

Thanks Yahoo. I missed an important job interview because you sent a good email I've already responded to into my spam folder. I can't even find a phone number or support email address. I think I should say GOODBYE TO YAHOO!!!!!

Starting a few weeks ago, suddenly many of my most important emails are being sent to the spam folder. This includes email from addresses I have sent emails to, and also includes email from addresses in my address book. Your spam filter is now actively harmful, and is doing more harm than the spam it is supposed to filter. I don't know what you changed in your algorithm, but it is absolute garbage and unacceptable. I pay for this business email and it's now a complete joke. And I can't even turn off the spam filter, so it is actively and (currently) unfixably making my life and my business worse. I award you zero stars, and may God have mercy on your souls.

I have clicked "not spam" and added addresses to my contact list and even set up filters to send emails from specific email addresses to my inbox and they STILL continue ending up in my spam folder.
I've used all the tools available, and yahoo mail still can't send emails appropriately to my inbox. This is beyond frustrating.
How can I resolve this? Sign up for Gmail???

Your email is consistently putting VALID and important emails into spam!
This is horrible. The sender of these emails are a law firm.
Please stop doing this!!! -

Something has changed, and now emails that I'd been getting for work are being tagged as spam and sent to the spam folder. I'd love to have an option of permanently saying, "this email is ok. Stop thinking it's spam!" I've had several very critical and time sensitive emails get put in the spam folder when they don't belong there. It's annoying to need to check both my inbox AND my spam folder multiple times a day.

The Yahoo / ATT spam filter setup is about the worst software I've ever encountered. No idea how the spam filters are controlled. If I move a message out of spam, it goes right back in.

There needs to be a way to turn off the spam filter. Just add a button under rules to "turn off spam filter." The published trick of a creating a rule asking anything with @ to be moved to Inbox does not seem to work.

I will decide of emails what goes in my spam area from my own longtime emails do not go in spam. If you do that again you will be in trouble Yahoo. Not your place to decide my personal emails are spam or not. Especially anyone who emails me on a regular basis. Some I may not read all the time doesn't mean they are spam. If they are anyone outside of my email contacts and actually spam then fine. As missed emails this week because I didn't know you were doing this. Don't tick me off Yahoo. you play enough with my settings and format over 20 yrs I am a person with a disability and don't need you messing with my emails. Let's make this clear

When a email is removed from the spam folder do not send those emails back into it.

If you are receiving email from people on your contact list or from the email conversation thread that you have replied to, then this shouldn't get marked as SPAM.
I now have to keep checking spam folder every now and then to see what email i might be missing

all email from Microsoft accounts (O365) are going directly to spam, please fix the filter to stop this. Create a tool to tell us why email is going directly to spam if we know it is not spam so it is not a mystery...

important/regular mails are going to spam suddenly. really a harassment and I lost a job offer too as I don't check spam and why this useless rule has been placed. it is the end-user who decides spam or not - even after marking not spam - going to spam again

When I tell the spam filter a mail is not spam, why do you continuously throw the mail into the spam folder? The spam filter seem to not understand or care when I give it a personal message, this is not spam. It's not fun to have to read though tones of Sex and scam mails because I have to check if some important emails have been thrown into the spam!

The Yahoo spam folder seems to get all my important emails and stuff I would consider spam gets delivered. One problem has shown up when an email was resent because when un-spammed yahoo strips off images. This is where the important information was located the images.
