I mistakenly marked an e-mail as Spam
I accidently marked an e-mail as Spam and it wasn't Spam. What can I do? I want to keep receiving those e-mails and I'm afraid I won't now. Please help!!!
The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Not Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify important emails in the future. Also if you use a mobile device or email client to access your mail over IMAP, please check the Spam filters in that application, to make sure it’s not marking important emails as spam.

Emails from people in my contacts are going to spam. STOP!
Either allow a white-list to be created and/or stop sending emails from known contacts to spam. -

I run a non-profit that works with schools and receive a lot of pictures from those schools. I also send out quite a few mass emailers. My messages keep getting marked as spam. Also, existing contacts that send me email have recently started showing up in my spam box or get bounced back. How do I remedy this?

I have been having this problem also. I have missed 3 really important emails this week. All from senders that are in my contacts and that I have had emails from for years. One is my husband's email, we used to exchange emails all the time, now I've told him not to bother. I too have used the not spam facility but does not work. I now have to trawl through my SPAM folder as well as my inbox in case I miss something. I can't find anything on why or how to stop it. Yours is the first reference to it I have found.

same thing happened to us as small business users, all incoming emails are flagged as spam, although the senders are in our contact list and we have been sending emails back and forth for years. Flagging the emails as not spams doesn't work too, next emails from the same senders still go straight to spam folders.

Where those idiotic "spam settings" are coming from? Why some garbage software "decides" for me what is spam and what is not??????

I use a pop mail client (Outlook) and only emails in the inbox get brought down using pop so if an email is filtered to the spam folder I never see it unless I open Yahoo Mail in a browser and check the spam folder. I need the ability to turn off the spam filter and let all emails pop down to Outlook.

If a sender is already part of the contacts, it shouldn't be marked as spam.

Please stop sending emails from our long-time clients into spam folder. A simple way is to recognize the email legitimate domains.

Good email is going into the Spam folder. Half of my regular communications from friends has been put in the Spam folder in the last week or two. This didn't happen before, so something has recently changed for the worse.

Spam filter is putting Contacts into the Spam folder.
Please do not do that.

IMPORTANT INCOMING EMAILS ARE GOING TO SPAM FOLDER. I DID NOT MARK THEM AS SPAM. HOW DO I STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING?

Why do you even give the option to mark as "not spam"? You turn around and keep putting the same thing in the spam folder anyway.

I am getting spam warnings from you attached to e-mails from people in my address
book. The messages have a "political" component in someones censorship infected mind.
One was a joke about gender issues and bathrooms and the other was simply a video ot
Teslas lined up at a charging facility. Clearly nether was spam and you know it, it was an
attempt at censorship, something I don't need from my e-mail provider. These aren't
publicly posted items either, they are communications between two private parties and it
is outrageous that Yahoo would intervene and attempt to censor them. -

I am missing emails due to being moved to the spam folder when I am expecting to see them in the Inbox. As you know there is no notification the email arrived. Waste of time to constantly have to check the spam folder for new email.

I have domains where I know the email being sent is not spam. However, the only way I can keep it out of the spam folder is to set up a filter to move the email to a unique email folder.

Fix your spam algorithm! Email from contacts IN MY LIST is being flagged as spam and I am missing important messages. This is unacceptable!

I give to a charity organization every week called FCA. After I give they send me a conformation email and Yahoo puts it in the spam folder every time. I have added them to my contacts and hit not spam many times. It makes no difference. It still puts it in spam.
