I mistakenly marked an e-mail as Spam
I accidently marked an e-mail as Spam and it wasn't Spam. What can I do? I want to keep receiving those e-mails and I'm afraid I won't now. Please help!!!
The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Not Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify important emails in the future. Also if you use a mobile device or email client to access your mail over IMAP, please check the Spam filters in that application, to make sure it’s not marking important emails as spam.

For the last two years Yahoo has been directing emails sent to me to spam. Many of these are NOT spam but are of a political nature. I have been using the filter feature for the last two months to direct messages from the senders to my inbox. For the last two days the filter option has disappeared and I can no longer direct Yahoo how to send messages from certain senders to my inbox and NOT spam. The Yahoo system is broken and appears to be engaging in a form of censorship.

And by the way Yahoo. C -- R -- A -- P is not a swear word. Use your brain!!!!!

By the number of complaints it is very obvious that no one at Yahoo gives a **** about it users. STOP being so stupid Yahoo. Let the smarter people, the one who actually get the emails, decide what is spam and what is not spam. STOP TRYING TO THINK FOR US. You are not smart enough to think for me!

Yes I know that it is possible for a spam message to use the word "interview" but the risk of someone missing out on a potential employment opportunity is too great.

Please, please, please can we have the ability to turn off the junk mail folder. I am constantly missing emails as they have gone to junk email. I don't have any junk email going to the folder at all. Why can we not have the option to turn this off please? I see this has been a popular topic before but it said idea now closed so I couldn't vote for it, hence entering it as a new idea again.

Emails from contacts should not appear in spam

I am tired of emails I receive being identified as potential spam, especially those containing links to current news stories sent to me by friends. This is nothing but a prelude to censorship by another tech company to regulate the information we receive even on our email accounts. I don't want the Yahoo platform previewing my email using an AI interface. It's an invasion of my privacy rights and is another step towards a future none of us will like. I will be seeking another email provider if this continues.

I'm losing very important emails because I mark them as Unread to deal with them later. But meanwhile, Yahoo moves them from Inbox to Spam without me knowing. I've lost critical messages due to this. How can I turn this feature off and mark all Spam emails myself?

Why do you morons at Yahoo send incoming messages to my Spam folder when the email address exists in my contacts. We're getting ready to switch from a paid Yahoo account to another provider. You guys are worthless.

Need searching the spam folder! Some emails that are responses to my emails are sent to spam by the system and then when I do a find messages it does not look in the spam folder. Seems that the find messages should look in all folders.

Please look into your spam functionality. A lot of critical emails end up being missed as they end up in the spam folder. This is not the purpose of a spam folder and I kept keep missing emails as a result of this issue
