full page contact list
I hate the contact list now being shown on the right side and much prefer the previous full page contact list. Please bring back the full page list or at provide an option to select this version. Also, some of my contacts seem to have "mysteriously" disappeared.

I agree with much of what has been said here. Completely frustrating, the way the contacts list is now. I am unable to move a new contact to a particular list and I am unable to add new contacts to lists I had created in old format. I like the larger page also. Please go back to old format.

One of the worst changes made to Yahoo Email was to put on the contacts and Distribution lists or Groups on the side of the screen. Very difficult to even add new contacts to a List. No search capability to know who is in your list. PLEASE go back to old style where it was a new Tab to work with your distribution lists.

Absolutely HATE the contact view. Bring back the full page contact view. This one is horrible. So difficult to manage and update.

I too HATE the new version of contacts. The one page list was sooo much easier to manage and find needed information. With the new version, I can't even access much of my needed information. This is by far the WORST so called improvement Yahoo has made to date. Please give an option to use the old contact list. Heck, the new one is not even in alphabetical order when going to lists.

I agree, it was so much easier to alter and edit contacts in a full page rather than a narrow column. If all the information is available on 1 page then it is so much easier to edit or add to lists. otherwise I have to scroll down page after page until I find what I need to alter and then have to scroll all the way back to confirm nothing else has changed accidentally.

CONTACTS I have been using Yahoo for decades, this "improvement" especially to contacts is pushing me to go to gmail. You need to bring back the full page list until you resolve ALL the issues with this new format. When I pull up a contact, I need to know the lists they are on. unless you wait
5 or more minutes your changes to a contact are not posted. On lists they are not alphabetical, there are more than one entry for that person on the list. Your tech support told me to delete and duplicate that just had phone number, I did and they were deleted off EVERYTHING including all
When I pull up a list I can not see how many people are on there. Can NOT print contacts or lists
I find adding deleting, editing tedious take a long time to take effect and counter intuitive
From the comments below it seems to me you should go back to the old format !! -

I hate contacts being listed on the right side. I prefer the full page list. Also, I can't easily add a contact ….. I hate to change to the old Yahoo Mail, add the contact, and then change back to the new Mail. Even so, new contacts go missing. WHY did you mess with something that worked?

I agree with the issues of most other people here. But additionally, the print is so small now it is hard to see.

This is my second remark on this subject and again please go back to the way it was - I have lost so many phone numbers and contacts - they are GONE. WHY in the **** would you make this ridiculous change that negatively affects us all

Agree, hate the contact list on right side of mail. And now it won't sync to iphone contacts. Prefer the old full page version. Lost features and capability is a downgrade. Adding contacts now does not work well, blanks out fields and exits edit. Please go back to the old address book.

I am a Yahoo user since the beginning and have MailPro.
I too HATE the unsolicited change.
Unless the Yahoo Mafia puts in flexibility........... ala option to go back to before last forced change
I will be migrating to GMAIL.
Do NOT make me do this!!!!!!!!! -

Just tried to add a contact - apparently to have it BOTH in "all" and in a specific list, I had to enter it twice - being able to "assign" was definitely easier. Also, I removed a person from a list, and THAT person was removed from "all" as well...definitely down side! Will be moving my lists to g-mail....

Can't view all contact details without going to edit function. The notes section is the worst having to scroll forever. When searching for "Chase" I have multiple contacts due to different account numbers. Only a few of them show up like they use to. In order to view I must now include part of the account #. Then I must chose edit in oder to view all the details.

I have been using Yahoo for years. The changes to contact list is not an improvement. With each update that comes out, instead of improving the software, you make it more difficult to use. You are making it hard for me to stay with yahoo.

I agree. This seems like a major bug. Please restore full screen contacts.
I want a web page like this:
contacts.yahoo.com -
