full page contact list
I hate the contact list now being shown on the right side and much prefer the previous full page contact list. Please bring back the full page list or at provide an option to select this version. Also, some of my contacts seem to have "mysteriously" disappeared.

I cannot figure out by looking at a contact -- over on the right hand list -- which lists they are on. Please go back to the full page contact list with all of the information included and the emails they have sent.

I can't agree more! The new Contact List relegated ti a sidebar margin is miserable! Adding a contact is next to impossible... there is nothing better about the layout...
Return to the full-page tab for Contacts, PLEASE. -

It's time for everyone to switch to Gmail or some other email that has a better Contacts feature. The new one that Yahoo has implemented is not able to be used in the same way as the old one. Please bring back the older full-page version.

I wholeheartedly agree with everyone else in this comment thread. The change is ridiculous and not at all user-friendly. This may send me over to gmail...

When editing or working with contacts, it should be full page. With the new mail, viewing, editing, adding to a category, or doing just about anything with a narrow field on the right side of the page is horrible. You should be able to click on contacts and have the whole page be dedicated to working with categories, lists or editing individual contacts.

The NEW location of the contacts is essentially a good idea but for those of us with bad eyes it should be twice as wide or let us return to a full page to easier read the necessary information or to edit it.

There is no way to click on a contact or go to a contact and see which mailing groups it belongs to. This is a severe headache when a contact wants to be removed from all groups except one or two groups. Please don't spoil a good thing for the sake of "change" - go back to the previous full page contacts format. The flexibility of managing contacts and groups are the ONLY reason I am on Yahoo email. Thank you for considering this request.

The new contacts list is very user unfriendly. It is a nightmare to use - and editing lists? Talk about making somebody curse! I'm not sure how much longer I can stay with Yahoo if you don't fix it. Just put it back to how it was, even if we do have to open a new window to use it - which in itself was a nutty idea. You have messed up big time with your "improvements." If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Post the contacts full screen rather than a narrow column on the right side of the screen. Make it easier to edit contacts. The options under this new system is lacking! Why did Yahoo change the contacts section. The change is certainly NOT an improvement. I like change, but ONLY WHEN IT IS AN IMPROVEMENT. This is a prime example of change with NO IMPROVEMENT!!

I agree. The interface is clunky. Only one line of notes seem allowed. The full page contacts worked quite well

After clicking the CONTACTS icon at the very right and bringing up the new (unusable) format, there is another trio of icons moved to the top of this display. CONTACTS, CALENDAR, and NOTEPAD. The CALENDAR and NOTEPAD icon do exactly what this user want, a return to the full page display so we can manage this topic, Clicking the CONTACTS icon does not do this. It merely closes the contacts display and returns the user to the email page. This would be the ideal place to correct this error and bring the user to the full page display. YAHOO, PLEASE CORRECT THIS BUG. Using the very narrow display not only is difficult, but Yahoo has taken away a number of functions available in the older full page display. So, Yahoo, not only am I asking you to correct the non-action of this icon, when that is fixed, please give us back the full page display that allows us to do all the things we used to do, like displaying the CATEGORY a contact belongs to, giving us the ability to add and change CATEGORIES, ability to print and export contacts with all the old fields returned to the CSV file. Right now I am crippled in how I use Yahoo mail because of what Yahoo has taken away from us in the name of efficiency and moving forward.

I hate to say it, but i think Yahoo-Verizon wants us all to go away. It's the only explanation for rolling out such a user-unfriendly contacts platform. They should just shut it down if this is what we are stuck with.

4. When looking at a list of contacts that has 3 entries, 9 entries are displayed.
Please return the Contacts to their own tab or window. The old Contacts was much better than the new.
