Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete
Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

New Yahoomail is totally messed up; contacts/groups not alphabetic; before, by selecting "edit" one could check which lists a contact was included in; could add to or delete from any list, all in "edit"- now need to check each list separately, too time consuming; can't remove a contact from a list without deleting from the main contact list.
Bottom line--can you give us option to use the yahoo of a year ago ? Else I have to switch to another company.

Upgrades and enhancements are supposed to make things better. Don't take away features that work well. By taking away features, such as alphabetical order in new yahoo email and not being able to add contacts to list or edit in basic mail, you have made the yahoo mail less user friendly and harder to deal with! I've used Yahoo mail for more than 25 years and these changes are definitely NOT improvements!

All of my contacts are now by First name order & I am unable to change back to Last name order. As well as many of my contacts do not even come up regardless of what I enter. Why do you choose to make using Yahoo as difficult as possible. Please go back to basic mail contact list. Have you hear "if it not broken do not fix it"?????

It used to be possible to print out the contacts address book and any personalised contacts lists. This very useful function appears to have vanished from the latest version of Yahoo Mail. It is not even possible to export a CSV file of a specific list and print that. I attempted switching back to Classic Mail but the list I had edited was not updated and the old print functions appeared to be missing from there also. Please bring the contacts print functions back or at the very least enable exporting of personalised list to a CSV file. Thank you

IT IS A TOTAL ******************* for me to have to go to my contacts list via the tiny icon on the upper right and select email addresses from there after opening the contact information from that COMPLETE LIST instead of the current ASININE method of selecting contacts from the INCOMPLETE LIST OF CONTACTS when I click on "TO" after selecting "COMPOSE NEW" This current feature is totally ridiculous and there is truly no excuse for it! Your current idea of ALL is a LIE!!! Only showing 4 or 5 of my contacts from my complete contacts list is not ALL!!!

Go back to the old contact settings immediately!!!!!

I have a lot of contacts.I'm a business owner & sometimes I need to look for a certain thing, like a name, or an area code, or a zip code. When I try that in the new/improved email, all I get are 6 choices. But there may be dozens & I need to be able to scroll thru them to find THE ONE that I want. How?
All I get from Yahoo Twitter help is "Post it on our help website and vote for your favorite" I need legitimate help. Anyone have any ideas? -

Sorting contacts by last name is essential, among other things. You need to take "New Mail" back to old mail from two years ago when it was actually functional. Your recent changes make it impossible to use Yahoo mail for many purposes. I have used Yahoo mail for over 20 years but not any more. You have taken a very good service and destroyed it.

I've been a paying customer for Yahoo mail for 19 years. The new version mail is NOT usable. I am in crisis mode. Can't manage contacts anymore. The previous version allows a single contact to be assigned to or deleted from different mail lists and managed from that contact page. . Not any more!!!

I hate the new Yahoo Mail. This last spring you rolled out changes and it moved all my contact from my business page to my personal email list. Now I tried to send an email out for my business and guess what, NOW YOU ARE LIMITING HOW MANY CONTACTS I MAY SEND AN EMAIL TO !!!!
I tried to switch my contacts back to my Business email but GUESS WHAT ! NO CAN DO ! This is complete stupidity on your part as you fix something that isn't broken in the first place. So I guess I will be talking to someone in your customer support bull pen and hopefully they speak English because the last time I called I couldn't understand a darn thing. I even asked to speak with some one / anyone who could speak clear concise English and I was hung up on. Please stop messing with your website, it doesn't benefit anyone and just ticks off a whole bunch of people. -

I painfully inputted new and updated my contact list one by one because I can't import CSV files any more (THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED). Now that I have accurate lists, I can't group email my list. It has the old list in the compose / send to. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED!

The top contacts list is superfluous for me as there is predictive mailing already - when I type a "ta" it automatically comes up with Tanya's email. I don't need to find and click from the top contacts list on the right hand side.
I would keep this format if it was way slimmer. At the moment the design with the contacts section is the same width as the emails which is ridiculous. -

Why aren't contacts in lists in alphabetical order? Why can one not delete a contact only from a list unless you go back to old yahoo email? Why is it so hard to add a contact? Why if I'm paying for no ads they show up when I go back to basic? Why is it so hard to revert back and forth to basic? Sure you are not going to support basic. But we are paying for an inferior version with far less versatility. Where is the contacts tab? It was better than the side bar. Why doesn't the contact information list the lists that a contact is in? Why if you are suddenly capable of fishing your way through and manage to delete a contact from a list they still get emails meant for the list? Why does the tab revert to ALL after you delete a contact from a list? And if you double check and delete them again.... now you have completely deleted them??? But if you search them in your contacts (though not displayed) they show up as still a contact? About fed up with this service. My contact list and LISTS are getting messed up.

It is no longer possible to copy an email address when composing an email or even from the contacts list.
Another stupid idea to make this new version of Yahoo Mail even harder to use.
You people need to listen to feedback instead of ignoring it and doing what you want. This forum is just full of complaints about this trash heap that you have inflicted on us.
If you can't fix this trash, then bring back the previous version., It was a lot more user-friendly and practical than this ****.

Keep the Contact list from basic Yahoo the same for New Mail. You've removed almost all that was good in basic Yahoo. Whose idea was that? If this isn't fixed by the end of October 2019 I am cancelling my Yahoo account and switching to Gmail.

The new contact list no longer allows you to assign a name to a list. Not good Yahoo.
