Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete
Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

New contact view is helpful for individual contacts, but I have a group list that I need to edit and I'm unable to locate it! One would hope that you do some beta testing before implementing new formats, but it seems unlikely. I've tried to adjust to all the inane changes you've made, but this may be the straw that breaks the camel's back

I have trawled through this blinking 'help' section and still can't find out how to stop the auto-adding of contacts I don't want, don't email and are presumably others in group emails that I don't know and don't want to know.

making everyone happy. My idea is to just put contacts back the way it was. I can't add anything to my lists. Which was very convenient for me. And when I added info to one of my contacts the other one disappeared. They had same name but different addresses. Where did the other one go. (name was Amy Lear). You didn't make it easier at all. Why can't we just have the old way back? and why don't you let us decide if we want to use the new way or not? It sounds as though there is alot of upset people.

The new system has a MAJOR problem. How do I edit CONTACTS to change or corect an email address?

In the new view of contacts, the names are on the side. They are sorted by first name, but not alphabetical within initial letter of first name, and I found one that was backwards with the last name as the first name. For a contact, I can't see which lists the person is on. The contacts in a list are not in any order. I can't see how many names are in the list. The names are duplicated (one listing with phone number, another listing with email address, etc.) Also, the list names are not in alphabetical order. How can I put the contacts in alphabetical order by first name? How can I see how many contacts are in a list? Before, I could assign a contact to different list. Now it seems I have to go to each list to add contact to the list. Is that right?

Yes!!! PLEASE PLEASE return to the previous contacts interface. It was much more efficient to manage contacts.

Revert to an older method of displaying contacts. The current contact list is too narrow and words are broken up between lines way too much.

Please return the contacts format that was in place a little over month ago! The new one is awful. I can't even sort by last name, and the contacts within my lists aren't sorted alphabetically at all. When adding or editing a contact, there is only a space for name, not first, middle, or last name. Also, when I edit a contact, it is not syncing with my iPhone and that used to be no problem.
Please fix and make bigger - I can barely work with it all on the right side of the screen. I have thought about switching to Gmail, which I really don't want to do it's horrible how bad Yahoo contacts have become. It used to be very good. -

Contacts only show on my PC screen when Yahoo is in the full screen mode. I need to be able to see contacts when the screen in NOT in full mode. There should be an option to see a full page of contacts OR to have it on the right side of the screen. The new current arrangement is rarely helpful

Please please go back to the contacts format that was in place a little over month ago! The new one is awful. I can't even sort by last name, and the contacts within my lists aren't sorted alphabetically at all! Also, my contacts are pulling in extra information that I never input (for example, a phone number that is loosely associated with the person but I do NOT want in there). When adding or editing a contact, there is only a space for name, not first, middle, or last name. Also, when I edit a contact, it is not syncing with my iPhone and that used to be no problem. Oddly, when I edit a contact on my iPhone, it will sync with contacts on my computer (although inconsistently), but editing on the computer does not sync with the iPhone. There are SO MANY problems with this format!!!! Please fix and make bigger - I can barely work with it all on the right side of the screen. I have thought about switching to Gmail, which I really don't want to do, but when I exported my contacts it did not even include the lists the individual contacts are in, and the export definitely used to include that (I export periodically in case of loss). Another problem is that I can't see how many contacts I have! I have over 3000 and I certainly don't want to individually count them! Can't see number of contacts in lists, either. This truly is perplexing how bad Yahoo contacts have become. It used to be very good, not perfect, but better than Gmail and very manageable.

Obviously lots of us hate the new contacts format--it is difficult to use, sometimes doesn't work, etc., etc. NOW you have managed to change the names on many of my contacts. Where I used to be able to type in the name and would get suggestions immediately, the correct email address comes up--but under another totally different name. IF YOU WOULD JUST LET WELL ENOUGH ALONE WE WOULD ALL BE DELIGHTED. HECK, I'D EVEN PAY FOR IT! But I refuse to be hijacked into paying for a 'better' experience when I can't trust you to give me a decent one to begin with.

Go back to the old display, or at least give an option of doing so. Right now you've got email address search combined with Contacts search (they aren't the same thing). I can't even display Contact Notes and can't edit anything. The only time I can even see Notes is if I'm adding a new contact.

Please return to the old Contacts format. I can not add a contact to a list, or assign it to a list, or look a contact up using the last name. This new format only allows you to add a contact to the ALL CONTACTS LIST--how do we add the contact to a group??? --even when you hi-light the list for the group you want... and add the contact information into the group, push save---AND THEN--the contact only goes to the ALL CONTACTS list--NOT THE LIST YOU PUT THE CONTACT IN.. and I'm told by Yahoo support that you can't add to lists with the new contacts format--This is Horrible. The old format was quick, easy, and user friendly---When will you make the change back???---I really need it to be done quickly! I was on the phone for over 2 hours on with Yahoo support people, trying everything, only to find out that there is no way to access my old Yahoo contact format. You have tied our hands, and gone backward. PLEASE HELP!!!! Please fix this!!!
