Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete
Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

I cannot find where to add a contact. I checked every option in the Contact menu and the settings Menu for Contacts and there was nothing.

I would like to be able to sort emails by name. Why is this not an option? I'm having a hard time cleaning up my mail!

I would like to enter my spouse's birthday and wedding anniversary in this format: mm/dd/yyyy. However, Yahoo DOES NOT ALLOW me to change the format. As for speaking with a live agent, fuggetaboutit. I AM NOT PAYING and extra $4.99 a month when I should chat with a like Yahoo Agent FOR FREE!!!!!

I also find the new contacts hard, always in the little side bar never full page. I used to do my christmas card lists etc. by exporting just the list "Christmas Card list" in a csv, now it seems I can only export ALL my contacts and they lists aren't even in the CSV... I'm gonna have to copy them one by one in front of the computer now...

Utterly useless customer service. I contacted them 3 weeks ago and they said the engineers are working on my case and will get back to you soon. I do not know what is the concept of soon in yahoo. This is a well-planned issue and sooner or later they will tell that we can get it back by paying a premium

When the heck is Yahoo going to fix the contacts and the calendar. I no longer have the ability to use them. When clicking on the icons, I get nothing. Why are they working in the old basic mail and not in the newer version?

When access help for possible options to access my contacts, the chat bot kept saying it was unable to help and provides I Yahoo Support for additional assistance but should be prepared to pay a fee for this service. I would not mind if I felt that being able to edit one's email contacts would be an added service item. Editing of contacts has always been part of Yahoo mail. Why all the hurdles and hoops for simply making some simple to perform changes to a contact?

I am unable to access my contacts at this time. Therefore, there is no way for me to edit any of my contacts. This is a frustrating issue because with the advent of the wide spread use of Android phones more and more of my contacts are choosing to make their gmail address as their preferred email option.

Come on Yahoo - WAKE UP WILL YOU.Also, your mobile app does not allow this either. Quit with the stupid pointless features and sort yourselves out.

I just tried to find a contact whose information I updated a couple of weeks ago, but wasn't able to. This is ridiculous.

This is pathetic, all it does is open & close the space that the Contacts should show up in.
What drugs are these programmers on, REALLY!??? -

Recently I lost mine too but about week later they were back. I suggest you back them all up to gmail or another way so that if they disappear again you'll still have them somewhere. Yahoo is deteriorating more & more as time goes by and since Melissa Mayer took over it stopped being a viable platform. The next thing to go probably will be our calendars. I've started migrating over & that's the only solution.
