How can we improve New Mail?

All the folders are empty!

I just logged in my very old yahoo mail account only to find all my emails gone, every box is empty, how do we restore the old emails? how can we restore the data now.. its pathetic.

    YAHOO...Have you answered any of these frustrated customers. I feel the same way...all my old emails are gone only at your discretion...I did not authorize you to delete them all. I want them put back please and thank you. AND AT LEAST LET US KNOW THAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO IT AGAIN!!!

    I've had this account for almost 20 years!! it was NOT INACTIVE!! I've log into this email at least once a month or every couple of months since it's creation! That means I've been logged in several times within your "12 month" period of deactive status, and yahoo deleted EVERYTHING?!?! There was NO notice of you flushing everything I had on this account. PUT IT ALL BACK!! There is no support option for this BS!

    My emails from the last 15 years have disappeared with no warning or reason - How do I get them back? Email is a PAID ACCOUNT included with my advanced hosting account & therefore is not supposed to have ads! You recently doubled the price but did not add any additional value and now you have caused tremendous damage to me by the loss of my emails!!!

    its been few years hasnt logged in. just to find out all mail were gone. my facebook was tied to this email. now im locked out. after reading some thread, it appears yahoo blocks the verification mail for account which innactive for at least a year. any help please?!

    the end is near, and I fear it will have the same fate as our inbox of emails, documents, files, verification logs to hundreds of websites and other sensitive data because I made the mistake of trusting the wrong people. As well as waiting in vain for an answer, equally empty.

    Same here. I too had saved emails from old friends and family members I hadn't seen for years but occasionally contacted via email. I also had saved emails with personal information in so I knew where to find them if necessary. Please restore them urgently....!!!!

    Totally heartbroken by this. I had this email for 18 years and it contained emails and stories I had written when I was just a child and now it's just... gone forever. If I had ANY inkling that this would have happened I would have taken b

    WHAT? YAHOO?? WHY? WHY DO THIS HEARTBREAKING THING? DONT YOU KNOW THAT WE RELIED ON OUR EMAILS FOR SOME PERMANENT RECOLLECTION OF THINGS. I HAD SOME EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THINGS SOME VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND NOW I DONT SEE ANYTHING NOR ANYWAY TO RESTORE OUR EMAILS? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP.

    I just experienced the same thing happen to me! Yesterday, 11/11/21, my Yahoo emails were fine. All emails I had saved from Jan. 2021 were there. When I logged in today, 11/12/21, all 2021 saved emails were gone except for three new emails. I logged off, waited for ten minutes, logged back in and there were still no saved emails from 2021 available! What gives here!? Searching "Help" gave no information that was useful. Maybe someone out there has a suggestion for recovering my 2021 saved emails. Older saved emails from 2020 were still intact. What's going on with Yahoo email services? Please HELP!!!     I want my old emails restored. I don't recall any proper notification of my emails going to be deleted.

    Oh. My. God. I am surprised there aren't more than 25 people providing feedback for what I think is a horrendous business decision on your part (if that's even what it was). This had better be a bug or a glitch that has a resolution! The automatic message I received claimed my account was in active for almost a year. However, I am seeing others state this happened "overnight." No notice given. Just poof. Don't you realize how important an email account is? PUT THEM BACK. I don't care how you do it, PUT THEM BACK.

    This move has messed up so many other accounts connected to that email. There are critical pieces of information which are now jeopardized. We should send you an invoice for our wasted time and aggravation to handle your poor management. Not to mention, there is ZERO communication about it. Sent an email about this 10/14/21 and ZERO response. Change your name to YaNO.

    I've had this account for YEARS, and nothing like this has ever happened. Not getting the emails I used to get.I'm glad this account was always secondary, and my most Important business is not conducted through Yahoo. With all the complaints I see on this thread, I don't see any YAHOO personnel/staff answering questions, or providing assurances.

    VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

    same horrendous problem since Yahoo Mail got changed. All mails now go to Unread folder, and I have to move every email I need to Inbox before I click on it or it gets deleted forever and does not even go to Trash! Have lost so many important email already and no response from Yahoo to restore my lost email ever. The old Yahoo was way better, now it's problematic.

    This is totally outrageous!!! I have lost a big part of my life, like others have commented here, i had many photos of family and pets, many wonderful emails that I was keeping here, this is so unconsiderate of you, at least you should have warned us that this would happen, so that we can move them. Very ****** move, Yahoo!!!

    Every single one of mine are gone as well. This ****** me off to no end as I had emails in there from when my husband was deployed before his injuries, family pictures I now don't have access to and pictures of my little dog that's been gone now for 6 years. Yahoo, get off your *** and fix our accounts NOW!
